Strolling around Amsterdam
Getting There - Journey from Leerdam was about an hour and quater. Took a bus to Utrecth and from there took a train to Amsterdam station. It’s a small city, so you cant missed the city centre from there.
Attractions - colourful building, modern lifestyle, varieties of local and foreign restaurant, Tony’s chocoloney, tulips, and canal, Anne Frank House.
Food & Restaurants - Had our lunch at a Greek Steakhouse and ‘hightea’ from the hotdog cart on the street.
Shopping - Most selected stuff I noticed by tourist was Tony’s Chocoloney, some products containing weed, waffle are pretty famous and of course cheese and wine.

The 30 min introduction tour is a must have for any Anne Frank fan. Our guide was great at explaining all the information! It gives a look at her life that makes the actual tour so much more engaging and meaningful. No photos are allowed inside the actual house but the audio guide gives enough information. I wish they posted the guide numbers in a better position as sometimes people would gather around it making it difficult to get too. Overall, it was sobering to walk through the house, seeing it with my own eyes after reading about it.
