The London Bagel Museum, famous for its waiting hell 🥯 Even though I visited on a weekday morning, there were still a lot of people,, 🥲 It has a market-like atmosphere, but I admit it's a great place for taking pictures! 🙌🏻 . . . 🥯 Brick Lane (Sesame bagel with cream cheese drizzled with honey) 🥯 Ham and butter sandwich (A bagel sandwich with a meal-like feel with ham and butter) 🥯 Pretzel bagel (A menu with a salty pretzel-like bagel and delicious butter) . . . This is what I tasted! It was really delicious It was a proper bagel that I kept saying! The best of them all was the ham and butter bagel 😆 I plan to visit again to try the potato cheese bagel next time! It's a place that makes you feel like you've visited your British grandmother's house ~ 🤎 I waited for an hour and a half and it was so bad but it was delicious and satisfying! The price range is not cheap, but it's a hot place in Seoul that you should visit at least once! I went to ARTIST BAKERY, a sister store of the popular morning bagel shop LONDON BAGLE MUSEUM. The Anguk store I visited is right outside Exit 1 of Anguk Station✨ ARTIST BAKERY is a salt bread specialty store, and salt bread is trendy in Korea right now🥐 There were 47 groups waiting for eat-in, but for takeout, it was only a 5-group wait and took about 5 minutes to get in⏳ All the salt bread looked delicious, and after much deliberation, I got three🥖 The pretzel dough with a good hit of salt was so delicious that I didn't realize it was all gone - like magic🪄 I should have bought more😭 I can't wait for 47 groups, but next time I want to go early on a weekday and try eating in❤️

It is the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday in Korea recently, and there are crowds of people everywhere. Samcheong-dong, Bukchon Hanok Village and three major ancient palaces are gathered near Anguk Station. There are also many good shops in Insadong. Many foreign tourists are wearing hanbok and walking around the hanok and streets, giving people the illusion of returning to the Joseon era. It’s really great to eat seafood pancakes and drink Korean millet wine on the side of the alley at Anguk Station at night; especially since the weather has been super cool recently, I really recommend coming to Insadong to experience Korean traditional culture. #Overseas travel #trip

#timetotravel The cafe experience is not to be missed when in Seoul. We made a visit to the popular Onion Cafe which was inside a traditional Korean house with opened courtyard. The queuing time wasn’t too bad for us( just under 30 minutes) but the line quickly doubled in length shortly after 3pm. Once you are shown the seat, everything is self service. Onion cafe is a very famous cafe in Seoul. Simply go to Anguk station and walk few steps and you can see beautiful traditional Korean house entrance or they call it “Hanok”. Come early if you plan to dine in inside the cafe as the queue can be very long or you can just walk in,order and dine outside the cafe. Doughnuts are especially popular among the younger generations (teenagers especially), and it is usually consumed as snacks. This shop offers a wide variety of doughnuts filled with roch cream such as Chocolate, vanilla, mint chocolate, kaya etc. This cute shop named Knotted is located at the old town of Anguk nearby Changdeokgung so it is usually packed with tourists (locals and foreigners) alike. Many who visited packs a full box of 5 or 6 to be taken away, shared among friends and families. Now, this subway station is interesting. It has an indoor greenhouse farming inside the station and you can buy their products from the vending machines. They even sell fresh salads and you can just buy them then board your train. It is definitely interesting to spot this greenhouse. This is known as Metro Farming. These plants are using hydroponic farming methods, which means the plants are grown in water. Instead of using natural sunlight, the plants are taken care of by LED lights. #TravelKorea This Onion Cafe is one of our top-of-the-list cafes because we really like the atmosphere here. The shop looks like an ancient Korean palace from a Korean series. Some tables are on the floor. And there are many photo spots. The shop is quite spacious. Most importantly, there are a lot of desserts to choose from and the drinks are delicious. An-guk Station is conveniently located near Gyeongin Palace and Insadong, just a few minutes' walk from several attractions. The area is filled with delicious food and desserts. This time, I came early to line up for the famous London Bagel. The crowd was overwhelming. The interior of the shop is mostly wooden. Two bagels and two bowls of soup cost over 1000 TWD. The taste wasn't exceptional, but if you don't have to queue and love carbs, it's worth a try!

If you want to skip the queue at ONION, want to be different but still want to visit cute cafes, why not walk down further to Dotori Garden? Pastries, cakes and coffee… and their highlight: yoghurt with real honeycomb + various toppings!! Definitely IG-worthy!
