Sharing a packed 3-DAY Singapore travel plan that's not exhausting
#TravelPlanShare
🩵 A relaxed Singapore trip, not rushing to cover everything
Leaving room to come back again, just hitting the key spots worth visiting
And suitable highlights, focusing on no extra spending 🤣
Except for some activities that might cost a little
❤️ Transportation and how to get around;
Using Google Maps 99% of the time
Mainly using a Travel card
And exchanging a small amount of cash, not too much, about 70:30
Focusing mostly on buses, MRT, and walking
💚 Our 3-day itinerary:
💛 DAY 1
- Changi Airport, stop by the waterfall spot
- Marina Barrage (the first must-visit spot)
- Supertree Grove, watch the free light show **Highly recommend arriving early
- Spectra, a free light and water show as well
- Helix Bridge, the steel bridge shaped like a double helix
💛 DAY 2
- Tunnel Gate Fort Canning, the tree tunnel
**Recommended to come early morning or before dusk
- Merlion, the iconic lion statue spouting water everyone must see, or you won’t have truly arrived
- Mirrors Ball sculpture, the silver ball is a must-see
**Not far from Merlion, fewer crowds, unique
- Maxwell Food Center **Stop for a meal, less famous but tastier stalls
- Universal Studios Singapore **Snap a photo of the globe, no entry
- S.E.A. Aquarium, a must-visit spot **We got a buy 1 get 1 free deal
- Chinatown & Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
Stop by Chinatown and the temple
- Satay Street, dinner stop at Satay Street but didn’t eat satay
💛 DAY 3
- Fountain of Wealth
- Old Hill Street Police Station, photo with the colorful police building
- Marina One, tall building with a view
- Changi Airport, allow time before departure for some shopping
About 3-4 hours before heading to the gate
🖤 Cautions
- Late at night, if you choose a hotel in the Geylang area like us,
be extra careful. Not recommended for women traveling alone to stay here.
- Singapore’s weather is like our southern region, both hot and very hot 🤣
Bring a portable fan, it’s very helpful
- Bottled water is pricey
But even if you bring a bottle, you can refill with tap water for free
Hotels usually provide free tap water, but we’re not comfortable with that
Public refill spots are also hard to find
So be prepared to buy bottled water
