[2025 Kuala Lumpur Attraction] Travel Guide for Ampang Hilir Park (Updated Mar)

WE WERE HOLIDAYING IN KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA FOR 6 DAYS. WE VISITED THE BUSTLING CITY WITH TALL RISE BUILDINGS, HISTORICAL BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES FROM THE BRITISH ERA. THE NIGHT VIEW OF KUALA LUMPUR ALL FULLY LIGHTED UP WITH NEONS WERE A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT.. EVEN AT 2AM, THERE WERE STILL PATRONS VISITING THE NIGHT CAFES AND RESTAURANTS FOR SUPPER. Very nice and beautiful park within the city, good place to enjoy some nature and water body. A pleasant park around the lake, the lake waters are filled with many koi or fishes swimming lively and with showmanship and little turtles which can be seen on the edges near the land. It fun to watch and you can also feed the fishes here.. Though we didn’t have a full loop around the lake, you can always go back & forth and it took us 3km for the half loop. Good for our all ages except for little ones that might roll on the lake if not controlled, there are some adult exercise points & kiddie playground too. The surrounding is nice and you can enjoy the scenery where there is a lake. #myhiddengems Very nice and beautiful garden within the city, good place to enjoy some nature and water body. Lake view is amazing, and full of fish, and spotted some turtles. Please use the entrance at housing area instead of entrance close to Jalan Ampang, as this entrance is closed. Great place for running and walking, not too crowded. The lake is also clean but be careful if you are bringing kids as there are no barricades. My only complaint is the trail is not a loop.

#malaysiatrip The park is quite large, with a huge lake and a jogging track around it. However, the path is only 4 feet wide, so rather narrow for two-way traffic. Also, the path does not completely go around the lake as some houses have been built to the edge of the lake on the west side. There are some useful exercise stations along the path. If only the path were much wider, more people would use this park. As it is, it seems under-utilised.

Good and unique selection of nasi campur dishes. Food tasted great and the coffee even better. They also have charcoal toast with mutton curry. Good relaxed atmosphere as well. Parking might be a slight issue though. Will visit again surely. #tripblazers #awesomepic #deliciousfood #couplestrip
