Banyan Tree AlUla is located in the Ashar Valley. Inspired by Bedouin tents, this resort hotel is built in the desolate desert and has a strong local flavor. Due to its remote location, the only way to get to the hotel is by car. You can take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, but once you arrive, there is no public transportation available. However, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the concert hall. Each room is a separate building shaped like a tent and scattered throughout the valley. We rented a car and stayed in a basic room. The room is about 70 square meters and square-shaped. The entrance leads to the living room and bedroom, with a sofa facing the bed. The cloakroom and bathroom are in another area. The brass hardware in the room is very textured. The bedside socket has a USB port, so you can charge your phone without an adapter. The toothpaste is solid, which is rare. The mini bar is not free, which is a bit stingy. The service is average, and there are not many activities in the hotel.
