Stayed a night in Alona because sea is calling me. I have been here for three times and it still beautiful. People are nice and helpful just ignore those offering you tours if you have booked already. This magnificent beach, located in the Philippine island of Panglao, is not as famous as other beaches, but it is a must-see place. The white sands of the beach are really soft and the sea is blue. It is only 5-10 minutes' drive from Bohol-Panglao International airport. You can take a taxi or a motorcycle taxi from the airport at an affordable price. In addition, there are beautiful hotels and restaurants right next to the beach. I recommend you to spend at least 3 days while you are here. How to get there - You may use tricycle as the main transportation in Bohol or rent a car or a motorbike to get around. Once you get there, just walk straight down the road into Alona beach. There is an entrance inside the downpath to Alona or outside alongside the road that leads to the entrance of the mini mall where the restaurant is located. Address - Alona Beach, Bohol Rating - 7/10 Comment - The food is a bit expensive and the place is a bit tricky to find. But aside from that, the food tasted great and freshly made. We got the chance to talk to the owner who is a Spanish man. The vibe or ambiance of the restaurant makes you subtly feel that you're chilling at a backyard party in a Spanish home. It was my first time to try a Spanish cuisine restaurant and I honestly did not know what to order. But all went well and I loved it.

Getting There - You can ride a tricycle or waze your way via a car/van/motorcycle rental. It is close to the way to Alona Beach Attractions - Thai Casual Dining Restaurant Food - All you can see in Thai Cuisine, Pad Thai, Curry, Omurice Rate - 100/10 I am definitely a fan of this place as I have been here countless times and more to go! My favorite is their Chicken Pad Thai and Red Curry. And I love that in Thai cuisine, I can always adjust to my tastebuds my Pad Thai or other dishes. Because they are ready with a container set of different sauces such as fish sauce, chili powder, vinegar, salt and more. There are other Thai restaurant in the area but for me this is the closest to the ones I've tasted back when I was in Phuket, Thailand. Ironically, the owner is a Korean but her servers are Thai so they all know what dish they're serving and how they should taste and pique the buds of the customer.

This is Glamping Alona Beach and we found it yesterday. It is a glamping hotel resort and has a bar, pool and restaurant. This is very recommended for introvert travelers like me who wants to experience the outside but also be cozy and warm at the same time. It's close to Alona Beach but it is quite hidden so you'll need to ride a tricycle to get there or by foot if you're athletic. We didn't get to try their food but I love their menu, very chic and simple. I want to stay in one of their tents someday with my husband.

We Arrived to Cebu airport and took ferry to Bohol . We spend 3 days in Bohol (Panglao) and the last 2 days in Cebu. There are many tours to do from there (chocolate hills, watch fireflies, snorkeling with whalesharks and turtles). The most busy area in Panglao is around Alina beach, there are plenty restaurants, bars and dessert shops.
