Laos has only two seasons: dry and rainy. The dry season is from November to April, when the weather is neither too hot nor too cold, making it the best time to visit Laos. I visited Laos in mid-December, which was the perfect time to see the waterfall. The unique karst landscape makes the water cascading down the mountain as blue as the sky, similar to the Huanglong Scenic Area in China. I admired the terraced waterfalls, the green pools under the waterfalls, and the tenacious vitality of the trees soaking in the water. Every step I took was a beautiful photo opportunity. The best activities you shouldn’t miss when you are traveling in Luang Prabang, Laos. We did a half day Kayaking tour on the Namkharn river, we started at 9am from Tad Sae( 25km away from Luang Prabang old town), Kayaking down along Namkharn, there a lot of fun and nice natural view, after 2 hours we reached All Lao elephant camp, where we have a break for our lunch and watching elephant take bath. After we finished our lunch, then we continue our kayaking to to the luangprabang old town, where Namkharn and Mekong river joined ( peninsula). we have arrive led our exit point at 1.30 pm, all in all is good experience.
