Georgia's autumn harvest festival is so much fun!
Hello everyone! Today, I want to share with you a super interesting and culturally rich festival - the Gandagana Festival, the autumn harvest festival in Batumi, Georgia! 🎉🎉
This festival is like the Georgian version of the harvest festival. It is not only a celebration but also a profound cultural experience. Walking through the festival market, you can see a dazzling array of exquisite handicrafts and rural souvenirs, each carrying the ingenuity and stories of the craftsmen. 🎨🌟
The most unforgettable part is the wonderful folk performances. People dressed in traditional costumes sing and dance, with music interspersed with laughter and applause, as if the whole world is cheering for this harvest season. 🎶💃
In one corner of the market, there is a very exquisite agricultural product exhibition area. There are colorful carpets, bright flowers, and various freshly picked fruits - pomegranates, apples, pumpkins, oranges... They are not only colorful but also symbolize the joy of sharing the harvest. 🍎🍊
Of course, as a harvest festival, how can there be no food? Traditional Georgian food and wine are a must. I personally like their stick candy, a combination of grape juice and nuts, which tastes very special. It costs 3-4 GEL each, which is not expensive. Every bite is a praise for life, and every toast is an expectation for the future. 🍷🍽️
Finally, don't miss the open-air traditional music and dance concert. As night falls, the stars shine, and the music plays, everything becomes so beautiful. ✨🌙
If you have the opportunity to come to Batumi, Georgia, be sure to experience the Gandagana Festival. I believe it will leave you with unforgettable memories! 💖🌍

Ali & Nino, the most romantic city in the Caucasus, Batumi.
Finally arrived in the visa-free country of the Caucasus, Georgia 🇬🇪
I thought Tbilisi was beautiful
Until I came to Batumi 🌊
I am glad that I did not miss this city by the Black Sea
Famous for the sculpture of Ali & Nino
At sunset, under the Ferris wheel
The two sculptures approach and separate, but never really touch
Full of unpredictable metaphors
I would like to call it the most romantic city in the Caucasus 💕
The inspiration for the Ali & Nino sculpture comes from the novel "Ali and Nino"
Ali is a young Azerbaijani Muslim, and Nino is a Georgian princess who believes in Christianity. The two met in high school and fell in love
But because of different beliefs and wars
In the end, it became a tragedy under the tease of fate
The Ali & Nino statue today is performing a story of approaching and separating every day
With a cycle of 10 minutes and 05 seconds, they meet briefly but can never embrace
This moving sculpture also brings a touch of mysterious romanticism to Batumi
Watching the sculpture slowly moving by the Black Sea at sunset
The setting sun dyed the entire coast golden
The world should be so beautiful 🌅
The Culinary Cruise
Get lost in the "mysterious pure land" of the Caucasus
The sudden release of passion for overseas travel is aimed at niche destinations. Either it will remain silent, or it will become a blockbuster and choose the paradise of the three Caucasus countries: a trip full of legends and pleasures.
Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia: three countries that are not far away but seem to be out of reach; the borders of Asia show the beauty and mystery of the Western Regions.
The poet Pushkin did not hesitate to pile up wonderful words for this place:
"You tower above the mountains, and your towering tent-like peak shines with eternal light. Your monastery hidden behind the clouds is like Noah's Ark floating in the sky. How I want to walk into the clouds and mist In the small room, I secluded myself next to God.”
So I arrived at the church and monastery under the majestic snow-capped mountains of the Caucasus Mountains, where I overlooked the vast land and the river flowing quietly between the city, and it was like looking back at everything that happened here in the long river of history.
I also went to the Staircase Square in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. It was once called the "Grand Socialist Staircase", and now each floor is an exhibition space for fine art❹⓮.
I saw an old man in the Georgian countryside playing "Solitaire" with dominoes like Pai Gow, still mumbling words in his mouth; and a girl in the center of Baku actually had the traditional Chinese characters "Proud of Life" on her arm. You must have fun"❻, which made me smile knowingly.
In Gori, Stalin's hometown, I saw a tank model made of gold on a gift table lamp in the museum that was still shining; while the 100% prototype of Stalin's head, which was modeled with a skull, had already closed its eyes⓰.
In Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, I waited for the little man in the tilted "Puppet Theater Bell Tower" to ring the bell at sunset; and on the beach in Batumi, I waited for the pair of statues called "Ali and Nino"8 A short hug every minute to become one ⓲.
The calls of "Grandma" and "Grandma" attracted us all to the front of Etchmiadzin Cathedral in Armenia. A cute little princess was pronouncing "Grandma" exactly the same as the Chinese pronunciation ⓱ towards the downspout. Chinese tourists are particularly delighted and surprised.
My friends know that my trip is going to the Caucasus, which is in the middle of a war, and everyone says it’s not safe. But on the seaside in Batumi, I really want to see what will happen on the other side in Crimea. But looking at the grain ships sailing in the Black Sea from a distance, and looking at the fat girls drying their flesh on the beach in Georgia up close, I remembered the sentence: "Just do whatever you want." The Russo-Ukrainian war seemed completely irrelevant here.
For me, the mystery of these three countries is just like the Azerbaijani girl in national costume in front of me❶. Yes, wait for her to lift the veil little by little.

Ali and Nino
The Ali and Nino is a prominent sculpture which was created by artist Tamara Kvesitadze to tell the story of love between a Christian princess and a Muslim boy who were forced to separate from each other during the Bolshevik invasion.

Ali and nino The statue of the lovers of the Black Sea is designed and built by a 1937 love tragedy "Ali and Nino". The story tells the story of a Muslim boy Ali and a Princess of the Georgian Nino, but because of Separate beliefs are separate. Every morning, the two statues stare at each other, move slowly, hug and kiss, and then separate.
I heard that one day, the machine broke down and the statue just stayed where they hugged and they hugged the whole day. ()
