The city is not big, the urban area is relatively concentrated, mainly in the Alfama district and the Santa Maria de Belém district. However, the colorful narrow and winding alleys, the broken city walls, the solemn and elegant monastery, the slow and creaky trams, and the gravel roads are all related to the explorers and those who have been associated with history for more than 600 years. The world-famous Portuguese egg tart originated in this city. It is said that the recipe was invented by a nun. So far, only a few people in the world have seen this recipe. It doesn't matter, as long as you eat authentic egg tarts, it's enough.
