Swiss trains take you to experience diverse scenery
Recently, I have been flooded with the beautiful scenery of Switzerland 🇨🇭 taken by pyq🍠~ It is really beautiful and heart-warming!
But many friends also reported that they did not go to Switzerland
Today I will organize five beautiful scenery in Switzerland for you⛰️!
➡️ 1. The bend of the Bernina Express
If you want to experience rotation on rails, try the Bernina Express🔥. This curve can be experienced by taking a train across the Brusio Viaduct.
The viaduct is located between Brusio and Campascio stations, just south of Brusio, about 54 kilometers from St. Moritz station. The Bernina Express spirals down a circular viaduct about 100 meters long with no tunnels in between. If your schedule allows, it is really worth experiencing.
➡️ 2. Watch the sunrise on the cogwheel train up Mount Pilatus🌄
Mount Pilatus is a mountain near Lucerne, Switzerland. It straddles the cantons of Obwalden, Nidwalden and Lucerne. Its highest peak (2,128 meters above sea level) is located on the border of Obwalden and Nidwalden.
There are several ways to go up and down Mount Pilatus. But riding the world’s steepest cog-rail mountain train (48% grade) is definitely one to look forward to. Of course, if you can't get up in the morning, the scenery at other times is also worth your careful appreciation.
You can take a boat from Lucerne across Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad, take the cog railway up the mountain, take the aerial cable car and panoramic gondola lift down the mountain, and then take the bus back to Lucerne.
➡️ 3. Scenery from the Glacier Express❄️
Every view on this journey is no less than those famous attractions. Take the Glacier Express 🚞 and travel up the mountain. Outside your window is a vast expanse of white, with no signs of human presence, only pure and flawless white snow. Aren’t you tempted by such scenery?
If you choose to travel from St Moritz to Zermatt, you will see: 91 tunnels and 291 bridges along the way. The Glacier Express journey takes more than seven hours. Would you like to try it?
➡️ 4. Views from Europe’s highest peak
Jungfraujoch is also the "Top of Europe"🔔, and therefore it has the highest railway station in Europe - Jungfraujoch (it is also the most famous station in Europe)🔥.
If you want to go, the Jungfrau Railway starts from Grindelwald at the foot of the mountain, winds through the meadows of the Eiger, and enters the tunnel at Kleine Scheidegg station.
➡️5. The most romantic mountain view
“This is a place that reminds people of heaven, and it is also a favorite of astronomers because they love to study the stars.”
This is the Gornergrat ⛰︎. You can take the Gornergrat Railway up the mountain from the ski town of Zermatt. You can see the Matterhorn along the way. After half an hour, you will reach the top of the mountain, where you can have a panoramic view of 29 peaks including Monte Rosa from the observation deck. Isn’t that exciting?
