Hidden Hot Springs in Tokyo: The Secret Private Hot Springs of Akazawa Onsen Hotel.
How can you come to Tokyo and not soak in a hot spring?! This time I found an amazing hot spring hotel, so niche that you may not have heard of it, but it has a very high rating among those in the know! This hotel is hidden in the mountains of Izu. We chartered a car from Tokyo and it took us a full three hours to get there, but the scenery along the way was so beautiful that it made my heart drunk! We also passed by the filming location of "Your Name", Omuroyama, but unfortunately the weather was not good, it was so hot that I almost had heatstroke, so I didn't climb the mountain. 🔥
The hotel is called Akazawa Onsen Hotel. As soon as we arrived, the atmosphere was full! Super quiet, super relaxing, traditional Japanese style. However, English is not very good here, fortunately the driver turned into a translator, helping us to communicate clearly. 👨💼
The hotel includes breakfast and dinner. Every day, I wear a yukata, go to eat, take a walk around, and life is so comfortable! The service is also impeccable. Because I am pregnant and need to control my sugar intake, I can't eat rice. The hotel's sister kindly asked the chef to replace all my rice with konjac noodles. The taste is so good that I doubt my life! 🥗
The highlight is here! The hot spring of this hotel is 100% deep sea deep water. The private hot spring pool in each room is kept at a constant temperature 24 hours a day, and it is no problem to soak five people. There is also a super large public bath downstairs. The whole hotel is like a small resort, belonging to DHC. We stayed at Akazawa Onsen Hotel, and there are also DHC Direct Store and Akazawa Onsen Hotel. The latter can see the sea view, bathing by the sea, it's beautiful! Unfortunately, I can only soak my feet, but the hot spring in my own hotel has already satisfied me! 🏖
Finally, I will attach a beautiful picture from the hotel's official website. You can feel the beautiful sea view by yourself! The last picture is the seaside hot spring in my dream. Although I didn't experience it personally, it's so beautiful just to imagine it! 🌊
