When you step into the shrine grounds, the bright vermilion shrine building catches your eye, and seasonal flowers bloom around it, welcoming visitors. Particularly impressive was the "Emperor Antoku's Tomb" located within the shrine grounds. In a quiet environment, I was able to worship slowly while feeling the depth of history. I was also told that I could get a goshuin, which I received as a souvenir.
