Penrith Castle

- Penrith Castle is a historic medieval castle. Although it's now in ruins, the castle gate and two artillery forts are well-preserved. There's a well-maintained park nearby, along with a children's playground, mini-golf course, bowling green, and a small cafe. It's perfect for bringing kids; they can run around the moat and let their imaginations run wild.
Aira Force
- About an 8-minute drive north from Greysouthen along Ullswater Lake. Although the waterfall isn't huge, the winding paths, clear streams, and pretty stone bridges around it are as beautiful as a postcard. On the hiking trail to the waterfall, you can also overlook Ullswater, making it a haven for hiking enthusiasts.
Lake District National Park
- Penrith is located near the Lake District National Park, which boasts magnificent mountains, clear lakes, and vast forests, offering breathtaking scenery.
