Anakai Beach is a very attractive attraction on the island. In addition to a row of majestic "moai" giant stone statues, a white sandy beach is long and wide; the palm trees on the shore are lush and lush. Climbing to the highest point on the island, the top of Trewaka, which is 507 meters above sea level, has a panoramic view of the large and small volcanoes on the island and the surrounding stone statues. The vast Pacific Ocean and the blue sky are integrated, which is refreshing. Not far from the mountain is the famous "Seven Samurai" giant stone statue. Legend has it that this was where the seven sons of a Maori wizard awaited the arrival of King Otu-Matua. Here is the well-preserved "moai" giant stone statues on the island. In the evening, people walk here to watch the sunset, the rays of the sun reflect half of the sky, and the huge stone statues are set off as eternal silhouettes.

This is the sunrise spot and can get very busy. Depending on what type of camera/lense you have you might prefer to stay out of the walled area to get the wide angle and sea behind. Try and go during the afternoon too to get the light on their faces.

[Easter Island, Chile] A huge mysterious face gathering! "Ahu Tongariki"
Easter Island (locally known as "Rapa Nui" or "Isla Pascua" in Spanish) is located off the coast of Chile in South America.
The moai of Easter Island are one of the world's greatest mysteries, and are counted among the "Seven Wonders of the World."
Among the moai scattered throughout the island, the one that stands out the most is the 15 moai "Ahu Tongariki" lined up facing the sea.
It is distinctive that only one of them is wearing a hat called a "pukao."
After being destroyed after a tribal conflict, it was washed away by earthquakes and tsunamis and left to decay, but it was rebuilt in the 1990s. An academic team will explore and restore the site.
It is a little-known fact that the Japanese crane manufacturer Tadano is cooperating with the restoration.
There is also an explanatory board on display at the site praising the project.
There are more collapsed moai statues lying around or buried here and there than you would expect on Easter Island, and after a few days it becomes commonplace and the excitement fades.
Easter Island is self-sufficient in food, with supplies transported from the mainland, so prices are very high.

Visiting Ahu Tongariki on Easter Island in Chile was a wonderful and exciting experience. When I arrived at this famous archaeological site, I was amazed by the huge stone pillars standing in front of the shore.
Ahu Tongariki features a stunning collection of semicircular stone fireplaces known as ‘transport stoves’. These semicircular fireplaces are archaeological transport assets representing the later ancestors and leaders of the ancient Labanoi people. The presence of these magnificent stone pillars creates a majestic and exciting view.
