🌞 After visiting the Taj Mahal, our next stop had to be Agra Fort! We arrived mid morning for a bright and sunny day full of exploration! It was quite busy when we arrived at the entrance, but once inside there was a lot of space that allowed for a less crowded experience. ✨ We had such a lovely time looking at the beautiful sights of the red sandstone buildings, adorned with marble inlay arranged in floral shapes. Its signature red color gives it the nickname "Agra Red Fort". In addition to this, the rich history was captivating and all-encompassing. We especially enjoyed seeing the attention to detail not only in the decor, but also in layout of the fort. 📚 Our guide was happy to tell us all about the historical figures who once occupied the fort and their stories. She also would go into detail about the gorgeous architecture, pointing out details that we would have missed without her. We were incredibly impressed with the water system built into the fort! 🤍 I would absolutely recommend stopping by Agra Fort as a part of your trip to Agra!
