Visiting Athens was an incredible experience! Walking through the ancient city felt like stepping into history. The highlight was, of course, the Acropolis. The entrance fee was €20, but it’s totally worth it for the views of the Parthenon and the whole city from the top! The climb is a bit steep, but the panoramic view of Athens is breathtaking. You can also visit the Acropolis Museum, which costs €10, and it’s full of fascinating artifacts from ancient Greece.
Plaka, the old neighborhood just below the Acropolis, was another favorite spot. The narrow streets, charming tavernas, and lively vibe made it the perfect place for lunch. I had the best souvlaki there and loved wandering through the small shops.
If you’re into history, don’t miss the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and for a bit of relaxation, head over to the National Gardens, right in the heart of the city. Athens is a perfect blend of ancient wonders and modern life. 🇬🇷

I recently visited the Acropolis Museum in Athens, and it was a memorable experience. Situated just a short walk from the Acropolis, the museum offers an immersive dive into ancient Greek history and art. The entrance fee was €10, which felt quite reasonable given the depth and quality of the exhibits.
The museum’s architecture itself is stunning—modern and transparent, it perfectly complements the ancient artifacts displayed within. Highlights include the Parthenon sculptures and the impressive Caryatids from the Erechtheion. The top floor, with its panoramic view of the Acropolis, was a personal favorite; it really enhances the historical context of the exhibits.
Nearby, you can explore the ancient Agora, which is just a short stroll away, and the picturesque Plaka neighborhood for some charming cafes and shops. The museum also has a lovely café with a great view, perfect for a relaxing break.
Overall, the Acropolis Museum is a must-visit for history buffs and casual tourists alike. The combination of rich history, impressive artifacts, and modern design makes it a standout experience in Athens.

Acropolis museum 🇬🇷
The Acropolis museum is very close to the site of the Acropolis attraction. Set over 4 floors, it gives visitors lots of information about the history of the site as well as some of the most important statues which have been taken inside.
The museum has glass flooring so that you can see down into the excavation site which gives it a very unique feel and vibe. On the top floor, there is a cinematic experience too #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer

Athens is a four season destination!
To be real,it’s not the first time that I went to Athens.
But this time I realise that I have been there all of the four season and know I can tell to everyone that Athens is a four season destination for sure!
You can do everything that you want,
but the mist is to visit the Acropolis museum,it is amazing!
And if you are 25 years old and younger you don’t have to pay an entrance!

Walking down the Acropolis is the Acropolis Museum, and it is worth a visit, a museum that is a rare blend of architecture and heritage. The bottom of the museum is suspended above the archaeological excavations of the 4th and 7th centuries. Ruins buried in the ground, are the ruins of Makriyani. Most of the sites are residential sites and tombs of the Mycenae civilization from 10,000 years ago. The goddess column of the southern porch of the Eric Tion Temple is displayed in the exhibition hall! Greek girls are graceful, and one is now in the British Museum. The third floor of the museum is the Parthenon exhibition hall in the key area. The entire exhibition hall is exactly the same size as the Parthenon temple. All the most exquisite exterior sculptures and artworks are displayed here. You can look into the exhibition hall in the distance. The Parthenon makes people feel as if they are crossing ancient and modern. It is highly recommended to have a rough understanding of the history of Greece and the Acropolis before going for this the tour. Otherwise, you will feel like passing a pile of run-downs and broken walls.
