#singaporetrip Dubbed as the 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘴, durians are infamous for their stinky aroma - it’s either a love or hate relationship with them. 🤢😍 It can be quite intimidating to try durian from the traditional roadside shops with so many variations. But 99 Old Trees just opened a new outlet within Outram Park with a unique and welcoming experience! 😮 Located right next to a carpark, the outlet has an al fresco seating like the typical durian stalls, which is great since the smell of durians can be quite overpowering to some. Upon stepping in, we were greeted by the powerful fragrance (which is great if you’re a fan). The industrial-themed space is decorated with realistic murals that paid homage to the process of durian harvesting. #cafe #trip

Durian lovers! This is a place that you cannot miss if you’re travelling to Singapore or if you’re local Snuggled up near Maxwell MRT station, this little cafe is fairly easy to spot after exiting the MRT. There’s limited seats inside with aircon but plenty of outdoor seating. We ordered one stinky chendol, stinky bowl with extra shot and 4 stinky bombs (durian puffs). Personally I would give it a pass for chendol the next time I go as it’s not that flavorful. But stinky bowl with extra shot is definitely worth trying! The rich and creamy flesh, coupled with shaved ice is perfect to beat the heat They also sell fresh durian by the box right outside the store.
