First experience in Macau with family | Quality is more important than quantity 3 days and 2 nights itinerary
2 queens, one 3 years old and one 6 years old. It is definitely difficult to take them around Macau at normal speed (generally same day round trip or 2 days 1 night).
That's it, their first trip to Macau, with the motto of expensive and not expensive. My mother arranged a streamlined tour for March 2nd.
🏠 Accommodation recommendation: Venetian Macau
🚇Transportation mode
Hong Kong and Macau commute: Golden Light Flying (Hong Kong and Macau Pier - Taipa Pier) >>> Children by car and boat are more watery, the boat is more spacious. And I don't know if there will be many people waiting for Kimba to cross the border land via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, fearing that the children will be impatient. For the above reasons, it is safe to take a boat.
Local transportation: Taxi is most convenient for families, point-to-point saving time
📍Itinerary introduction
🗓 Day 1: Taipa Pier > Venetian > Macau Tower
(Lunch: Venetian food court, Dinner: Macau Tower 360 Revolving Restaurant Buffet)
Around noon arrived at Taipa Pier to take the Shuttle Bus, to the Venetian check in, 2 queens to the room attracted, played a round before willing to go out. Before lunch, we immediately went down to the food court to eat and then took a taxi to Macau Tower.
We bought a buffet dinner with sightseeing ticket package in advance. The sightseeing floor closes at 18:00, so get there early, and the buffet dinner starts at 18:30. And after visiting the sightseeing floor to drop back to the ground to the entrance of the other floor to get to the restaurant, this should be noted.
The eldest queen was addicted to stepping on the glass on the sightseeing floor, and the two queens were looking forward to watching people jump stupid pigs, and kept shouting to jump. The younger queen would be scared again when she saw someone jumping down, and took 2 steps back. It was funny. The revolving restaurant was also a great experience and there was a packed seafood platter on the day and the quality of the food was not bad, Dad and the Queen enjoyed the ready-made handmade noodles very much. Beautiful scenery with food, simplified view of the whole of Macau.
After eating have been waiting for a while for a taxi back to the hotel, it is recommended to book a taxi in advance using the Macau Taxi app or you can take the MGM shuttle and then take a taxi may be easier. (The local taxi driver said very few taxis go to the observation tower at night, I called no taxis)
🗓 Day 2: In front of the Assembly Pavilion > Our Lady of the Rosary Church > Tai Samba Lian Nezha Temple > Tai Samba Street, Tai Guan diagonal, Guan Front and Back Street photos along the way
(Breakfast: hotel food court, lunch: Eating and drinking along the Grand Samba at the Council Pavilion, Dinner: Li Kee Shark Fin Seafood Restaurant on Guan Ye Street)
In the morning, looking out the window was very foggy, dispelled the idea of going to the road to take pictures and check-in, so went straight to the front of the council pavilion, the taxi put us on Prince Yin Main Road, 5 minutes along the road. When you come to Macau, especially for the first time, the area from Parliament Square to Tai Sampa is a must-visit place, along the way there are many souvenir shops, famous must-eat shops/food, and Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Walking, watching and eating, plus dragging the cows (2 queens) up the tree, we played for 3 hours. We were also lucky enough to not be crowded even though it was the Easter holiday. Then walk diagonally along Daguan Street from Tai Sampa Street and then walk to Guan Hou Hou Street. There are many characteristic, colorful walls/buildings along the way that are suitable for beautiful photos.
I didn't think that despite the fog in the morning, it would be so hot at noon that 2 queens turned into apples. So we flew back to the hotel to rest, let him sleep and play in the room. I walked to Guan Ya Street area at night and found a Li Kee Shark Fin Seafood Restaurant before closing. I went in for a meal. Because many of Guanya Streets were closed at night, we went straight back to the hotel.
🗓 Day 3 Hotel until check out > Guan Ye Street > Hotel get your luggage and take the shuttle bus to Taipa Pier back to Hong Kong
The night before, there was no night walking in Guanya Street. After 11:00 check out, there was still time before the 15:00 boat, so I stored my luggage at the hotel and walked to Guanya Street. The Venetian West Wing Lobby is at the flyover and then along the electric walkway in about 10 minutes or so. Guan Ya Street is naturally another place to eat and drink and buy souvenirs. Yi Shun double skin milk, Tan's shark fin, and Andrew's Portuguese tart can all be eaten at Guan Ya Street. There is also World Records, which even local friends in Macau recommend. After walking for a few hours, we have to go home. The Venetian shuttle to Taipa Pier is at the main entrance (other locations are in the west wing)
The 3 days 2 nights streamlined tour ends here.
💡Notes/Afterword:
1. With kindergarten children, the trip should not be too intensive, to reserve time in traffic, because may not be everywhere intercepted taxis.
2. Souvenirs, nothing more than almond cake, pork dried, but the big Samba opened a called Qingzhi hand cream, it has 366 days of hand cream, each birthday packaging is different, quite special. In fact, there are also canned spicy fish (such as the old man's brand sardines), although you can buy it in Hong Kong supermarkets, but cheaper.
