The temple is constructed from sandstone and bricks, with intricate carvings. Within the temple grounds, there is a graceful Buddha statue in the Maravijaya posture. Despite some parts being damaged, it still reflects the grandeur of the past. The surrounding atmosphere is serene, with green spaces suitable for walking and relaxation. Phimai Historical Park is an ideal tourist destination for those interested in history and ancient architecture. It is open daily with a small entrance fee.

It takes about four hours by bus from Bangkok to Korat, Thailand's second largest city. From there, it's another hour by minibus. Phimai, the city of Khmer ruins. It has a distinctive feature that is different from other stone castles in Thailand. That is, this stone castle faces south.
