#Get a discount without relying on luck
This year's Khao Wong Phra Chan pilgrimage festival is from January 29 to February 12, 2025. Go up in the evening of January 28. There are quite a few people coming up before the official start of the festival.
The distance is about 1.6 kilometers, starting from the entrance arch.
When you get there, you can make merit, the wind is cool, and you will feel less tired. We recommend buying or preparing water and gloves to hold onto the railing below or bringing your own. *The price upstairs is expensive.
For those who can't walk, you can worship and ask for blessings from the Buddha at Wat Khao Phra Chan.
A beautiful temple with many places to worship and pay homage.

Buddha Chok
"Phra Phuttha Chok" Khao Wong Phra Chan, Lop Buri Province
The largest Buddha statue in the Chiang Saen style in Lop Buri, is enshrined on the edge of Khao Wong Phra Chan. The area around the Buddha statue, in front, is a wide courtyard with stairs leading to the Buddha statue, two Dharma halls, a viewpoint, and a Hanuman monument.
There are two ways to go up to pay homage to Phra Phuttha Chok: the first is the concrete stairs built by the temple that go around the mountain to the large Buddha statue, with 549 steps. The handrails are white, making them match the golden yellow color of the large Buddha statue, along with the beautiful green mountains behind. The other way is a paved road that goes around the back of the Buddha statue. You can drive up this way.
