Myrtos Beach 🇬🇷
#beachcheck
My summer vacation to Myrtos Beach on Kefalonia was unforgettable! 🌊 The beach is as stunning as everyone says, with its crystal-clear turquoise waters and dramatic white pebbles that make it look like a postcard. Getting there was an adventure in itself, with winding roads offering breathtaking views of the island’s rugged coastline. The entrance is free, but parking costs about €5 for the day.
Nearby, we explored the charming village of Assos, just a short drive away, which offered quaint cafes and a lovely little harbor. We also made time to visit the Melissani Cave, an underground lake with mesmerizing blue waters and fascinating rock formations. 🛶
Overall, Myrtos Beach is a must-see for anyone visiting Kefalonia. The natural beauty is simply awe-inspiring, and the nearby attractions make for a perfect day trip. 🏝️

Myrtos is the beach to visit
Myrtos beach is stunning with plenty of space on the pebbled beach.
It gets very busy so get there early if you want a sun bed (have to hire) or a good spot on the pebbles.
Lovely facilities including a shower and toilets and the little cafe serves great drink and snacks.
The drive to the beach is quite narrow and windy so take it steady. Plenty of car parking at the bottom if you get there earlier enough.

Myrtos Beach Kefalonia
#beachvacation
Myrtos Beach in Kefalonia, Greece, is a true masterpiece of nature. This pristine gem, nestled on the island's northwest coast, is a sight to behold. During my visit, I was awestruck by the sheer beauty of this beach. The soft, powdery white sands meet the deep blue waters of the Ionian Sea in a mesmerizing display of contrasts.
The crescent-shaped bay is surrounded by towering cliffs, adding an element of drama to the scenery. The view from the road leading down to the beach is breathtaking, and it only gets better as you descend to the shore. Swimming in the crystal-clear waters was a pure delight.
Myrtos Beach is a must-visit destination in Kefalonia, and its natural beauty is unparalleled. It's a place where the wonders of the earth and sea come together in perfect harmony, leaving an indelible mark on anyone fortunate enough to experience it. #ukcreator #greece #Kefalonia
