Agia Eleni Beach in Kefalonia 🇬🇷
#beachcheck
Agia Eleni Beach in Kefalonia was a slice of heaven on earth! 🌅 Tucked away on the island’s western coast, this beach is a bit off the beaten path, which makes it perfect for those seeking a more tranquil and laid-back experience. The clear turquoise waters were absolutely stunning, and the soft, golden sand made it a great place to lay down my towel and soak up the sun. 🏖️ Best of all, there’s no entrance fee, so you can enjoy this beautiful spot without breaking the bank!
The beach isn’t overly crowded, which I loved. There are a few sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent for around €10, but many people just brought their own towels and umbrellas. 🏊♂️ I spent most of the day swimming in the refreshing water and then enjoying a book in the shade of the surrounding pine trees. The sound of the waves and the scent of the pine mixed together perfectly, creating a truly peaceful atmosphere.
There’s a small beach bar where I grabbed a cold drink and a light lunch, perfect for keeping me fueled during my lazy day by the sea. 🥪 If you're feeling adventurous, you can explore the nearby Myrtos Beach, which is one of Kefalonia’s most famous spots, or take a short drive to the charming village of Assos, known for its colorful houses and Venetian castle. 🏛️ Agia Eleni Beach is a must-visit if you're looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a day of pure relaxation. #trip #AgiaEleniBeach #Kefalonia #GreekIslandLife #BeachVibes #ParadiseFound
