Free to enjoy😍A spectacular row of cherry blossom trees overlooking the hills🌸
I've never seen such a beautiful cemetery! It has been selected as one of the "100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan," and there are about 1,000 Yoshino cherry trees and about 7,000 mountain cherry trees in the park. This time, I would like to introduce "Fuji Cemetery" in Oyama Town, Shizuoka Prefecture. There is an observation deck in front of this row of cherry trees, and you can climb the stairs to see this view. Some places are at a slightly high altitude, so the best time to see them is usually early to mid-April, but this year it is forecast to be a little earlier. If it gets crowded, you will have to park far away from the observation deck, so if you are going by car, we recommend that you go at 9:00 when the park opens! The road is also a bit mountainous, so please be careful. Access information other than by car If you think it is difficult to get there without a car, don't worry! There are also buses available, so you can get there by public transport 🚌 Here are the details of the bus 👇 ・From Shinjuku Station on all lines, take the direct bus from Shinjuku Station to Fuji Cemetery for about 120 minutes *Operating days: Every Saturday, Sunday and public holidays ・From Suruga-Oyama Station on the JR lines, take the Fuji Cemetery Microbus (free) and Fujikyu Bus (paid) for 20 minutes ・From Gotemba Station on the JR Gotemba Line, take the Fuji Cemetery Microbus (free) and Fujikyu Bus (paid) for 30 minutes ・From Shin-Matsuda Station on the Odakyu Line, take the Fuji Cemetery Microbus (free) and Fujikyu Bus (paid) 45 minutes・From JR Odawara Station East Exit, take the Fujikyu Shonan Bus bound for Fuji Cemetery (Platform 6) for about 70 minutes. * Buses between Shin-Matsuda Station/Odawara Station and Fuji Cemetery run only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
▪️If you are going by car...
If you are coming from the Tomei Expressway, you will need to get off at Gotemba IC.
The Gotemba Premium Outlets are located near the interchange, so why not combine this with a trip to the park?
Also, if you are coming from the Chuo Expressway, there is a spot in Yamanashi Prefecture called Shinkurayama Sengen Park where you can see the spectacular view of cherry blossoms, Mt. Fuji, and the five-story pagoda! The best viewing times are usually the same, so you can go there together!
That's all!
How about it! Let's all enjoy this spring together!
