It has the advantage of being backed by mountains to avoid the cold, storing wind and gathering energy, and it is like spring all year round. The ancient city’s buildings are simple courtyard houses, with flowers and trees of all seasons, flowing water under small bridges, and simple folk customs, forming a beautiful harmony between man and nature. Winter in Lijiang is my favorite. As a southerner, the dry climate here is perfect for me. On sunny days, wearing two layers of clothes is as comfortable as autumn. However, if you plan to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 🏔️, you need to wear a down jacket. Fortunately, there are shops at the foot of the mountain where you can rent one. Scarves 🧣 and hats 🧢 can also be easily bought in the ancient town. The wind on the mountain is strong, and even on sunny days 🌞, the temperature is still low, making it feel cold. The water in Blue Moon Valley is still crystal clear, and the blue lake and snow-capped mountains complement each other, making you want to stay there for a while. Yuhu Village at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain now has a minibus service directly from the ancient town. We visited it on our way to Baisha. #discoverchina I stayed at the quieter part of the old town so I was very pleasantly surprised to find such a boisterous part of town as I stumbled upon an entire street full of life with bars, pubs, karaokes, restaurants stretched fully across! It was truly magical and I wish I can regain that feeling again! Plenty of whimsical tiny alleys with beautiful murals or decorations and specialty shops (my favourite was one selling bells). Stay in Lijiang Old Town and explore it at night to experience magic.

Really a nice place to travel and explore with. The vibes there really wonderful and awesome.
