The area was quiet, and we had to be cautious, knowing that bears had been spotted in Kibuneguchi a few years ago. Though it was unlikely we’d see one, we kept alert as we continued walking quickly along the dark path. The chilly air made us hurry, but we still tried to enjoy the last glimpses of the snow-covered scenery. With a bit of extra speed and caution, we finally reached Kibuneguchi Station. It was a relief to arrive, but the walk had added an unexpected adventure to our day, making it even more memorable.
