Disembarking in Nassau: A Unique Island Adventure at Blue Lagoon Island
Hey everyone, I have to share this amazing spot we discovered on our disembarkation day in Nassau – Blue Lagoon Island🎉! We chose this relatively less-known island, and it turned out to be full of wonderful surprises!
🐬After disembarking in the morning, it only took a 40-minute boat ride to reach the island. During the journey, we were treated to stunning views of colorful houses and the Atlantis Hotel. Once we arrived, we had free time to explore until the return boat at 3 pm. The island's seawater is unbelievably beautiful, like a sparkling emerald, so clear that you can easily see fish swimming. The beach chairs are free, the island is covered in lush vegetation, and coconut trees are everywhere. The entire island is clean and peaceful, a true vacation paradise.
🐬We also opted for the stingray encounter, and there were only three families participating that day, so we had plenty of time to play in the water. The island has its own photographer, but the photos are quite expensive. I cleverly had my husband take pictures from the shore, and the staff were friendly and allowed it. So, if you have a companion and don't want to pay a premium for photos, you can try taking turns in the water, with one person taking pictures from the shore.
🐬The island also offers dolphin and sea lion interaction programs, and even if you don't sign up, you can still watch. If you prefer a more interactive experience, these programs are perfect! The dolphins and sea lions are incredibly smart and will actively cuddle, kiss, and hug you. They completely melted my heart.
I'll be putting together a comprehensive cruise guide soon, so stay tuned!
