A Peaceful Escape in Seremban
#malaysiatrip
While exploring Seremban, I stumbled upon a hidden gem, Pertubuhan Penganut Dewa San Kau Tong. This place truly felt like stepping into a serene oasis.
The beautifully curated garden was one of my favorite spots—lush greenery, artistically trimmed bonsai trees, and a pathway that invited quiet reflection. Walking through, I felt an instant sense of calm, a perfect way to slow down and appreciate the moment.
The calligraphy banners swaying gently in the breeze added a poetic touch to the atmosphere. It’s not just a visual delight but a peaceful retreat that rejuvenates the soul. A must-visit for anyone looking for tranquility and a dash of culture!
Camping Fun at YAKA Campsite: Nature’s Playground
#campingfun #100WaysOfTravel
Had an amazing time camping at YAKA Campsite in Lenggeng, Negeri Sembilan! The hilltop location offered stunning mountain views and a serene escape from the city. From stargazing under the clear night sky to exploring the nearby animal farm, every moment was filled with adventure and relaxation. The facilities were top-notch, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Can’t wait to return for more outdoor fun!
IN HARMONY WITH NATURE
#forest
The forest offers a peaceful escape from city life.
Walking under the trees in the quiet surroundings calms the mind and brings a sense of tranquility.
Only those who experience it truly understand the feeling.
Being inside a forest can influence our body energy flow, disconnect from the noise and reconnect with ourselves.
Simply breathing the fresh air is a true definition of being peace with ourselves and the world around us.

Lomak Salai
From the abandoned old Tampin RNR to the greatest Smoked Lomak Cuisine attraction in Negeri Sembilan. An interesting concept like Ikea, a variety of interesting dishes: fatty smoked meat, grilled fish, lobster, desserts, old-fashioned snacks and much more. Got the slogan, Podeh, Paneh, Pueh! But the price here is bearable, you can eat sometimes. You can always use it, it's a bit pricey too. Weekends are crowded and there are queues, especially during peak hours. The overall taste of cooked lomak is good, the shrimp sauce is just ordinary, the kole pea cake is really good! Btw, there is a surau here if you want to pray.

The Coffeeholic
#malaysia
Other than wall murals, we also visited a cafe called "The Coffeeholic" at Seremban, which is in the most happening city in Negeri Sembilan, which was a really great way to get some cool air and chill a little before our long drive back.
The cafe is really clean and brightly lighted, since there was no one, we could enjoy the peacefulness by the window and watch the busy morning traffic pass us by.
Being only one of the few top rated cafes around the area, the cafe also serves some snacks such as croissants and other pastries. Since my boyfriend was quite full, he only had the ice coffee latte.

The Best Salai @ Resepi Grobok Salai
Delicious and appetizing food. Side dishes are mostly spicy, but there are also side dishes and vegetables that are not spicy. Various cakes and sweets are also sold here. We have many options to choose from. When entering, there will be an employee who will ask how many people want to eat and the employee will give us a table card, the card must be placed on the table after we have finished taking the rice and side dishes provided. Water can also choose the existing one. Toilets and hand washing facilities are available. The place is quite spacious and the level of cleanliness is satisfactory. As for parking, you can park on the side of the road or in a paid parking lot that only costs Rm1.00. Overall, very satisfied.

Negeri Sembilan Muzium Rembau
The Rembau Museum is a "replica of Raja Mureehua's palace museum". (Muzium Replika Istana Raja Melewar)
The museum is small and is located in Daerah Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. The explanations are in Malay and English.
The museum has some exhibits about the history of Raja Melewar. Raja Mureewah was the first ruler of Negeri Sembilan.
The museum's building is similar to a traditional Malay stilt wooden house. The museum is located far away from the city, in a Malay rural area (Kampung Kampung). It takes about 50 minutes from Seremban, Negeri Sembilan (from Seremban to Tampin, then turn to Kota Pekan). Along the way, you can also see many traditional Malay stilt houses in the "kampung" area.
The Linmao Museum is free to visit.

Negeri Sembilan State Museum
The Negeri Sembilan State Museum (Muzium Negeri Sembilan) is located in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. It takes about an hour to drive from Kuala Lumpur to Seremban. The museum is near the Seremban exit of the North-South Expressway.
“Negeri Sembilan” means “Nine States” in Chinese and Seremban is the capital of Negeri Sembilan.
The Negeri Sembilan State Museum is a Minangkabau style and building. The cultural characteristic of Minangkabau buildings is that their roofs are designed in the shape of ox horns. Entrance to the museum is free. There is a fee to visit the museum, which has exhibitions about the history and culture of Negeri Sembilan and Minangkabau. Minangkabau is a traditional matriarchal ethnic group, where fields and houses are inherited by daughters. All explanations are in Malay and English. If you don't want to go inside and just take photos around outside, visiting the Old Palace and the stilt houses is free.
Next to the museum is the Seremban Gateway shopping mall, which has various restaurants and is very convenient for dining.
A Journey Through Serenity in Seremban
#malaysiatrip
While exploring Seremban, I discovered Pertubuhan Penganut Dewa San Kau Tong, a cultural and spiritual haven that left a lasting impression on me.
The entrance greeted me with vibrant red lanterns and bamboo decorations, setting a warm and inviting tone. Walking further, I was enchanted by the lush garden pathways adorned with Japanese-style stone lanterns and bamboo trees, offering a tranquil escape from the busy world outside.
Inside, I found a traditional Chinese setting complete with elegant calligraphy scrolls and a stunning guzheng table. Each corner radiated peace, making it the perfect spot to connect with nature and culture. This hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone seeking inspiration or a moment of calm.

Tranquility Meets Tradition

During my recent trip to Malaysia, I visited Pertubuhan Penganut Dewa San Kau Tong in Seremban, and it was a beautiful blend of tranquility and tradition.

#getgoing2025 Staying in a sea view over-sea villa has been a dream of mince and it finally came true in January 2025.
The villas are wonderful, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, and the private plunge pool is fantastic to relax in and escape the heat.
Complimentary soft-drinks and water was a great addition.
The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful and the service staff are sooo lovely.
We had a delicious meal at the Umi Japanese restaurant last night too.
I'd absolutely come back again in the future.

#getgoing2025 Exploring Bukit Batu Sawa was a refreshing change! The trail had a raw, untamed vibe, which made it feel like a real jungle adventure. I loved hearing the sounds of nature all around. The peak isn't super high, but the serenity up there is unbeatable. . Along the way, I enjoyed the soothing sounds of birds and rustling leaves, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. While the peak isn’t super high, the view is calming, and the fresh air is a reward in itself. It’s a great spot for anyone seeking a quiet escape from the city. If you love nature and a bit of adventure, Bukit Batu Sawa is perfect!

Nice Forest View Lunch at Moon Hill Villa
#traveldiaries
Lunch at Moon Hill Villa Pantai with my buddies was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. You ordered the Nyonya-style “fish” rice set, which had a tangy and spicy sauce with a fish substitute, giving it a nice kick. The rendang mushroom rice set was rich and flavourful, with tender mushrooms cooked in aromatic spices. The pumpkin tofu rice set was light and comforting, with soft tofu and sweet pumpkin . As we enjoyed the delicious vegan food, the peaceful forest view added to the calm and natural vibe, making the meal feel even more special and refreshing. This was a very good lunch experience with forest view with my buddies.
