The best spot to see the mountains and the sea - Chaoyang National Ecological Trail
#朝阳渔港 #朝阳国家骑道⛰ #朝阳社区 #安妮基🐶💪🏼 #阿噜咪🐶👧 #阿宝贝🐶 #cavoodle I took a leave yesterday to go back to the doctor's office, and took advantage of the good weather to go straight to Chaoyang Fishing Port in South Australia with my boyfriend.
I naively thought that we were just in Yilantou, but along the way I passed Suhua Gai and realized that we were already in Nan'ao (not Nanfang'ao). And when I saw the sign, I really wanted to go to Taroko in Hualien and stick with the beautiful B&B owner. It's a pity that this person is stubborn and can't change his shrimp fishing plan, so I have to let him do what he wants. I also want to thank him for taking time off early in the morning to drive with me to the hospital for the follow-up visit and waiting for almost three hours at the hospital gate!
The beautiful scenery along the way is particularly beautiful with the help of good weather and good mood! I was saddened by the changes in my condition that the doctor had mentioned during my recent visit. However, I also talked to the doctor in the clinic about how the war had already begun and what else I wanted to do in life. Isn't that making myself feel guilty? So while my boyfriend was shrimping, I took our two dogs for a drive around the beautiful Chaoyang community, which has rice fields, beaches and fishing ports, mountains, lakes, small shops run by community farmers, and a delicious restaurant.
Then I saw the Chaoyang National Ecological Trail and went up it alone with my two dogs! Although I had just had surgery, I still checked it out first. The 2.2k steep slope, sleeper stairs, and dirt trail felt a bit challenging. When I was hesitant, I saw another mother bringing a dog up, so I plucked up the courage to follow. I am glad that I persisted and I am also grateful to Aniki for lifting his legs to mark the way. Of course, I am more grateful to the very obvious signs along the way and the beautiful scenery on the mountain, which enabled us to persist even when we were out of breath. We finally reached the triangulation point. The two followed me to take selfies for a while. I was worried that the weather would change when we went down the mountain, so I hurried down the mountain with Aniki (I should go again next time and then exit from Jianguo Road or take the Suhua Ancient Trail again)
After we got down the mountain safely, we went to a small shop to drink lemon juice and buy some agricultural products. The kind owner even helped me load them into the car. I let the cats run around in relaxation while looking at the grassland. Then three Aboriginal friends who work at the traffic control center came and were preparing to have a meal at the restaurant here. They started taking photos with us, running, and watching the cats perform their special skill of listening to counting and eating snacks (ha, I’m a showy mom). Seeing their enthusiasm, I added each other’s contact information, shared photos, and also asked me to camp next time I come to South Australia, or ask them to help book a room. They are really cute!
Although we returned late, my boyfriend didn't catch any lobsters, and it started to rain, but we were lucky that we were already in the car, and the four of us all felt that today was wonderful, fulfilling, and happy, and that was enough! 😁
