While the name suggests a serene cypress experience, and you certainly get that refreshing dose of phytoncides, the entrance sign mentioning "Black Goat Farm" initially threw me off. However, stepping inside revealed a delightful array of activities that made it a surprisingly engaging visit, especially for those with children. Beyond the impressive cypress colony, the forest offers various enjoyable experiences. We discovered an ATV experience area, perfect for adding a bit of adventure to the day. There's also an animal feeding experience area, an indoor black goat experience area, and even a cypress oreum to explore. It truly feels like a collection of fun things to do all in one location in Seogwipo. 💰Average Price per Person: The entrance fee is quite reasonable at 10,000 won for adults, with a discounted price of 6,000 won for "postmark" visitors and free entry for children up to 36 months. For those looking for a more immersive experience, they offer "Cypress Healing Courses," "Dulle-gil Courses," and "Semi-Courses" of varying durations. It was located in a quiet village a little away from tourist attractions, so I could feel a more local atmosphere! I went there because I thought it was a pork rib restaurant, and the black pork belly was also delicious. If you go with a group of people, it would be good to try a variety of pork belly, and the side dishes are neat and delicious. I've only ever had raw black pork in Jeju Island, but this was my first time eating black pork ribs. The price was reasonable and they were so delicious. I even finished off with cold noodles, so I was really full. ^^ The building is big, so there were a lot of seats in the store, and parking was also very convenient:)

Despite being smaller than expected, the forest had charming photo spots scattered throughout. The hajaksul (yellow blooms) were particularly captivating, resembling full moons in their brightness. #getgoing2025 I visited both Camellia Hill and Dongbaek Forest during my trip, and Dongbaek Forest had more flowers in full bloom! I also visited the cafe inside and had perfect timing—the best seats upstairs opened up just as I arrived! While the windows upstairs are smaller than those downstairs, the view was still lovely, and I enjoyed a Dongbaek Cream Mocha, which was incredibly delicious.
