Phra Pathommachedi Royal Temple.

Phra Pathommachedi is a first-class royal temple located in Phra Pathom Chedi Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Pathom Province. Its most notable feature is the Phra Pathom Chedi or Phra Thom Chedi, which is one of the tallest and largest pagodas in Thailand (120.45 meters). The current Phra Pathom Chedi is a Lanka-style pagoda in the Sukhothai design, built during the reign of King Mongkut, covering two older pagodas: a stupa in the Indian style from the era of Emperor Ashoka, and an ancient Khmer-style pagoda. Besides the Phra Pathom Chedi, on the lower terrace to the south of the pagoda and in the ordination hall, there are the principal Buddha images, two of the four seated Buddha images with the posture of 'The Buddha Subduing Mara', which were created in the Dvaravati period.

#Tent site SWT Landcamp HAKO Cafe'n Glamping A tent site near Bangkok, just a 2-hour drive. The atmosphere is nice by the river. I didn't think there would be one in Nakhon Pathom. The green grass area is super inviting to sleep on. The bathrooms are also very good. This is another tent site that I highly recommend. Taking pictures in the evening is beautiful. Waking up in the morning to breathe in the fresh air is even better. If you want to paddle a Sup, you can do that here. The activity area is very big. Or if you don't want to sleep in a tent, there are also triangular rooms for you to sleep in. #Many people have booked. Here, they have a cute little cafe corner. Then we walked a little further to the free zoo to see the chubby deer that were ready to devour any fruit that humans offered. This was the first time I knew that there was a small zoo like this in this area. After feeding the deer, we walked to Phra Pathom Chedi to pray for blessings. In the surrounding area, there were shops and a walking street. The walking street near the Khuen Wan shop is a walking street that is fun to walk around, but everyone ended up buying something to eat on the train back. (Unfortunately, it was raining so we didn't get to take any pictures of the walking street.) This is an easy way to travel to the province. At first, I went to Nakhon Pathom without any idea about Japnese restaurant. Fortunately, my local friends there recommend me to go super delicious Ramen ever. This is Mana ramen, you should try spicy black ramen. That is so so so fascinating dish that i never try. Kyoza is so good too. It is not far from the city center. Chicken with curry is also recommend dish.

The highlight is the pink building with a large dragon that envelops it, The dragon that surrounds the building from the bottom to the top, Unfortunately The elevator had been unavailable as well, so we had to take the stairs. it's about 16th floor with 80 meters, Yes we had climbing inside the dragon to the top, so tired but it was amazing to explore I guess ! A lot of interesting things in this temple and don’t forget to check out the large turtle statue whose mouth opens up to a cave, actually inside that scared of me a bit ☺️ lot of people say go by taxi is easy but too expensive for me as thai people, I went there by bus no.84 stop at mor sri intersection and change to mini blue bus to the temple, so close easy and cheap ! This seven storeys building is a bit far from local attractions, but near many food or night entertainment places. Many tasty foods such as fry chicken, tok-pok-ki, kim-chi rice. Not only food but also have a dessert, cakes and drinks. All of them are delicious and reasonable price. About the decorated of restaurant, I really impressive. It's cute warm and luxurious in the same time. Feeling like cafe but they firmly denied it. They said 'it'​s a korean restaurant'. Phra Pathom Chedi means the first Chedi of Suvarnabhumi.It is the tallest stupa in thailand reaching approximately 120 meters with the base circumference of 235 meters. The annual Phra Pathommachedi Festival is taken place in December for 5-9 days. You can visit here to admire the Sukhothai-style structure, which is inverted bell-shaped and largemout.
