I went to Miyabi-tei, a hidden gem in Nagata, for dinner. I was wondering whether to order a course or a la carte, but since it was my first time at the restaurant, I decided to enjoy the course meal. Starting with prosciutto salad, I enjoyed a little bit of delicious food, including yukhoe, seared black wagyu beef, beef tongue stew, and steak. The steak was served on a plate with a large pink crystal-like Himalayan rock salt, which I shaved to my own taste. You can also take home any leftover rock salt. Isn't that amazing!? This Japanese confectionery shop makes seasonal Japanese confectionery one by one, and is famous for its delicious ohagi, mitarashi dango, and fruit daifuku such as mandarin oranges. You can also eat shaved ice for a limited time only from June to September every year. This shaved ice is truly exquisite. The smooth and fluffy shaved ice is topped with delicious bean paste and chewy white mochi that you can only get at a Japanese confectionery shop♡ And the price is amazing, only 150 yen for shaved ice! You can choose from brown sugar syrup, matcha, strawberry, and mizore. You can also choose from three types of toppings if you wish. 3 white mochi, bean paste, and milk (condensed milk) are 50 yen each.
