Nice and quiet accomodation, off the road at Myvatn area. Note that the rooms / cabins are opposite the main road and not the reception is at the other end. The rooms are designed as wooden cabins and the beds are comfortable. You will find packets of coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom is small but practical with water heater. The water pressure however is slightly lower as compared to other hotels. Beds are comfortable and cozy. You will need to cross the road for the breakfast. Beautiful view on the stables and cows. Finallay my dream came true, being able to meet the Aurora Borealis in Iceland, what a wonderful Journey. The day we intended to see the waterfall at Godafosa, unfortunately it was already dark when we arrived. But we still went down to the location. After not getting the photos we were hoping for, we decided to move on. Suddenly we saw above the sky a tinge of aurora which was initially thin then lit up brightly and danced, the Aurora Borealis that we were waiting for finally appeared amazingly.
