The breakfast set was good For Iced Americano, it was difficult to actually discern the taste of the coffee beans. Personally, I prefer acidity, but it seems to be somewhere between acidity and boldness. Decaffeinated Americano is not recommended. I think the Starbucks decaf on the other side is better.

Started the day at Gyeongbokgung Palace, arriving in time for the changing of the guard ceremony—a must-see for history lovers. Strolled through the palace grounds, then visited the Bukchon Hanok Village to admire the beautiful traditional houses. Afternoon: Grabbed lunch at Gwangjang Market, trying authentic bibimbap and mung bean pancakes. Then, explored Insadong, a charming area with art galleries and unique souvenir shops. Evening: Took in the breathtaking city views from N Seoul Tower at sunset. Ended the day in Myeongdong, shopping for skincare and enjoying delicious Korean street food like tteokbokki and hotteok

#celebrateit Undoubtedly the best Non-Veg Korean Platter I’ve had in recent years. The hero dish was the flavourful Kimchi Jiggae 🍲 - it was packed with so much flavour, absolutely delicious! 🤌🏻🤌🏻 I liked the Pork ribs as well, unlike most ribs which are on the harder side, this was surprisingly tender and slid right off the bones when I bit into it. The portion of this platter was good enough for 2 people. The only strange part was providing only 1 rice. For a platter that’s catered to 2-3 people, I felt there should be at least 2 portions of rice. Best place to celebrate your anniversary.

#getgoing2025 Brand new hotel just opened on July 20. We got a deluxe room with one queen bed and one twin bed. It’s large room (for downtown) for a family of 3-4. There’s also a small sitting area with a couch a small child or adult can sleep on. The bathroom has a bath tub. The month of July ‘24 and likely August too, they have a “soft” opening, meaning many amenities and facilities are not available including the pool and the club lounge. This info is not on the website and we were disappointed to find out upon checking in. The included breakfast is a set menu, not buffet like many other hotels. We tried Korean set today and it was delicious. Staff speak English well and they’re all very kind and try to accommodate guest requests. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for a family stay to be near many major attractions with a subway station in front of the hotel.
