Russia | Impressions of Red Square
First of all, Moscow's police cars really come in all models, including BMW, Mercedes, and Land Cruiser, and then the street racing is not just a little serious, especially motorcycles! Speaking of Red Square, it's nothing like what I imagined, nothing like what I've seen in the movies! Crowds walk here to take pictures, and also, no matter what map app you use, it basically freezes in this area, completely unable to locate accurately. There is a hotel with a very good scenic view next to Red Square, which is the Four Seasons Hotel, where you can take overhead photos. The church in Red Square is called Saint Basil's Cathedral, and I don't know when it started, but many people also call it the Rainbow Cathedral. Red Square is a landmark of Moscow, and friends who come to travel should come and see it.
From Bustling Moscow to the Tranquil Golden Ring 🌆✨
In the evening, arrival in Moscow led to a stay at a hotel on the outskirts of the city. Moscow, one of the world's three largest cities alongside San Francisco and Mexico City, is bustling with traffic 🚗🌆.
The first stop on the second day was Sergeyev Posad, part of the Golden Ring, mainly to visit the Holy Trinity Church, one of the oldest Orthodox churches ⛪✨. The town is picturesque, with the pink church standing out, and the tulips planted in front adding to its beauty 🌷🏰. The sunny weather highlighted the colored churches against the blue sky and white clouds, creating an almost magical scene ☀️🌈. In the following days, the temperature in Russia steadily dropped, culminating in snow on the last day ❄️🌨️. Monks in black robes and many saints can be seen, devoutly kissing the holy coffin after worship and lighting a holy candle, creating a deeply ritualistic atmosphere 🕯️🙏. This environment naturally inspires quiet reflection, allowing an experience of piety and tranquility, and a connection to ancient culture 🕊️.
Compared to the metropolis of Moscow, these old towns are the heart of true Slavic culture. There are no tall buildings, only historical structures with rich stories 📜🏛️. Interesting people and events can be encountered around every corner, making wandering feel like a museum visit 🏞️🎨. Life here is slow, so slow that the passage of time becomes irrelevant ⌛. Perhaps this is the essence of life 🌿.

Do you know these little tips for traveling to Russia?
How to play in Russia❓ Although tourism is not the main industry in Russia, it is definitely a seriously underestimated treasure of tourism, and the recent climate is also very pleasant☀ Here you can check in the capital of Russia, Moscow and one of the super beautiful cities, St. Petersburg🏰
👍For the first time, it is recommended to go with a group because English is not commonly used in Russia❌, language communication is a big problem, like booking hotels, transportation problems are more troublesome
In addition, you will be shocked by its various majestic buildings, such as the Catherine Palace, the Kremlin, the Winter Palace Museum, the Summer Garden, and the Red Square. A casual shot is a big scene📷
❗【About the precautions for traveling to Russia to help you avoid 80% of the pits】
①Language problem
English is not a common language in Russia, so remember to download the translation software in advance, and other things like transportation and accommodation are best arranged in advance in China to save a lot of trouble
②About cash
Remember to exchange some rubles at the bank in China before departure, restaurants and attractions do not directly accept foreign currency, Visa cards are currently not available in Russia, you can also bring some cash to exchange locally
③Toilets have to pay
Many toilets in Russia need to be paid, about 50 rubles, so if you are in a museum or encounter a free toilet, it is recommended that you go up if you can
In addition, be careful of those who are dressed in doll costumes or princess costumes and enthusiastically take pictures with you!
④About the bald party
In fact, the public security in Russia is much better than the legend. The so-called "bald party" that specializes in hitting foreigners is almost gone in Russia. As long as Chinese tourists abide by the local order and show a high level of cultivation, Russians will also be very friendly, but in crowded places, they still need to pay attention to anti-theft~

The Red Square in Moscow on Christmas seems like a fairy tale world
On the first day in Moscow, I couldn't wait to come to the Red Square.
The atmosphere is too good, reflecting the heavy snowfall, colorful lights and flags.
So, the Christmas abroad is so atmospheric.
There are market areas, play areas, and skating areas.
The heavy snowfall is too romantic!

One of the most worth visiting churches in Moscow | Cathedral of Christ the Saviour
✨When in Moscow, I didn't originally plan to go to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. I was citywalking with a friend in Moscow, and as we walked along the Moscow River, we saw the golden onion domes. I checked and found out it was the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, an unexpected itinerary and gain!
✨The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (Russian: Храм Христа Спасителя) is located on the banks of the Moscow River. It is the tallest Orthodox church in the world and one of the most magnificent churches in Moscow.
✨The church was ordered to be built by Tsar Alexander I. It was originally built to commemorate Russia's victory over Napoleon in the War of 1812, to thank the Saviour Christ for 'saving Russia from defeat and preventing her from being disgraced', and to commemorate the Russian people who sacrificed in the war.
✨The church has undergone several reconstructions and was finally preserved during the Soviet era and became famous. The church we see now was rebuilt in 1995. The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is not only a religious holy place, but also records Russian history and culture.
⏰Opening hours: Tuesday-Sunday 10:00-17:00 Monday 13:00-17:00
📍Address: Mocow,Volkhonka Street,15,119019
Transportation: Get off at Kropotkinskaya station on Line 1 of the subway, and you can see it when you come out of Exit 2.
🎫Tickets: No ticket is required for the main hall on the first floor.
✨Practical information:
✅There is a museum in the church, which displays the entire process of the church being bombed and rebuilt through models, photos and other methods, as well as an introduction to Orthodox Christianity.
✅From the bridge next to the church, you can overlook the Red Square area, which is very beautiful and a good place to take pictures.
✅There are many beautiful icons and murals in the church, as well as some historical relics, such as the Tsar's throne, the silverware ordered by Tsar Alexander I to express the gratitude of the Russian people is at the top of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.
✅The basement of the church is one of the attractions of the Russian Tsar's tomb.
‼️TIPS:
✅When visiting the church, girls need to cover their heads and cannot wear skirts, and men cannot wear shorts!
✅No photography is allowed inside the first floor, but it seems not too strict, everyone took pictures with their phones.
✅The church is connected to a bridge that you can walk along the Moscow River to the statue of Peter the Great, the scenery along the way is super beautiful!
✅You can buy boat tickets at the pavilion near the wall of the church, and you can go boating directly down the bridge.

Moscow gala experience
hii! i’m currently studying and i don’t have rich parents to provide old money trips for me haha
but! i love visiting aesthetically and culturally pleasing places, so here are some ideas for you!
1. SHE restaurant at Bolshaya Nikitskaya street (~30€ per person, table reservation is nedeed)
I love this iconic place because it’s kind of affordable for such a level of food and interior. however, i don’t find meals there unbelievably delicious, they are just good and fancy. Also, the restaurant serves a glass of champagne during weekday breakfasts, it tasted good, but it felt kind of cheap.
2. Novaya Tretyakovka Museum near the Park Gorkogo
The place of truly fascinating modern and contemporary art of Russian culture! I find it fabulous visiting the Main Staff of the Hermitage Museum (Glavny Shtab) in Saint-Petersburg AND THEN exhibits at Novaya Tretyakovka. Just a good way to reflect Russian modern art compared to international pieces.
3. Found Record Store & Pizzeria (Tsvetnoy blvd., ~12€ per person)
Awesome place to have your breakfast! The interior is amazing and bright, especially on sunny days. The breakfast constructor includes many tasty options. During summer you can also have your table on a terrace, but I suppose it might be noisy outside.
Four seasons at Tsum shopping center
TSUM — Central Universal Department Store is a high end department store in Moscow. The store is in a six-story historical Gothic Revival style building on Petrovka Street at Theatre Square in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow.
It is a signature fashion department store in Moscow, near the Bolshoi. It is a large store with luxury brands. It is nice to stroll around or if you are really into Fashion. Nice looking store from the outside, for the festive season.
#Tsum #shoppingmall #Russia
If you are visiting Moscow, definitely check out the Bolshoi Theatre, whether it is ballet, opera or a show, nevertheless, definitely worth visiting. While your at it, make sure to explore Moscow city centre and the Red Square which is literally walking distance from the theatre. There are also so many restaurants, pubs and clubs in the area, both traditional and international. #trip #instatravel #theatre #russia #Moscow
Four Seasons Hotel Moscow 🗺️

My autumn stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Moscow was a dreamy escape into the heart of Russia's capital. Located just steps from the iconic Red Square and the Kremlin, the hotel offers an unparalleled experience of Moscow's historic charm, which is even more enchanting during the fall season.
The hotel's sophisticated design, with its blend of contemporary luxury and traditional Russian elements, provided a warm and inviting atmosphere. My room, elegantly appointed and complete with modern comforts, offered a cozy sanctuary amidst the brisk autumn air.
Exploring Moscow's landmarks, such as St. Basil's Cathedral and GUM Department Store, surrounded by the changing foliage, was truly magical. The hotel's top-notch service, exquisite dining options, and the chic O2 Lounge rooftop bar with panoramic city views enhanced the overall enchantment.
The Four Seasons Hotel Moscow was the perfect autumn haven, allowing me to immerse myself in Moscow's history and culture while reveling in the seasonal beauty. #moscow #russia
Zaryadye Park 🗺️

My visit to Zaryadye Park in Moscow was a captivating journey through a futuristic oasis in the heart of the city. Located just steps away from the Kremlin, this innovative park seamlessly blends nature, culture, and cutting-edge technology.
The park's striking architecture and design elements are awe-inspiring. I was particularly drawn to the soaring "floating bridge" that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Moskva River and the city's skyline.

Two Completed Renovations in 2021: A Year of Transformations
Two completed renovations in 2021 stand as the highlights of the year. (Or as a reason to be proud that I didn't lose my mind;)).
Throughout all my travels, it's been quite photogenic, walkable, and spendable. In 2021, I could return home with an empty bank account, and the only thing I could do was gesture to our renovation crew with my hands. The money for parquet flooring had already been invested in a new handbag with a chain or a cardigan knitted by a Peruvian grandma. But these arguments usually didn't fly.
However, I must admit, I had the best renovation crew and designer one could find in Moscow. With @stroyka.buro and @basement_architects, we managed to complete both renovations from scratch within a year. We had no electricity or water in the house: just bare concrete boxes. Honestly, traveling, renovating, and not going over budget is incredibly challenging. It's only possible if you have a superb crew you trust. I had just that. So, I recommend them to you.
These guys not only consulted us but also helped find construction materials at reasonable prices and resolved issues with the property management company. In short, it was a turnkey renovation. Now, I hear stories from many of my friends who are renovating, and I realize how lucky I was.
So, I just want to say thank you to them ❤️ and recommend them to you. Save their contacts. #mp_renovation
Moscow Red Square
#timetotravel
My experience at Moscow's Red Square was like stepping into a historical masterpiece. Located at the heart of the city, the square's iconic architecture and vibrant atmosphere left me in awe. The resplendent St. Basil's Cathedral, with its colorful domes, stood as a symbol of Russia's rich heritage. Walking on the cobblestones of the square, flanked by the Kremlin and GUM department store, was like a journey through time. The square's central location and its usually extended visiting hours allowed me to explore both day and night, each offering a different perspective. Moscow's Red Square isn't just a place; it's a living canvas that captures the essence of Russia's past, present, and enduring spirit.
Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Moscow
Location: Volkhonka Street, 15, Moscow
Founder: Emperor Alexander I
The author of the project: Konstantin Ton
Entrance fee: free
The Cathedral of Christ the Savior is the cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church, located in Moscow on Volkhonke Street. The existing structure, built in the 1990s, is a recreation of the temple of the same name, destroyed in 1931 by the Soviet Union.
If you don't want to go the the observation deck, you don't have to pay the entrance fee (and you don't have to rent a scarf (for females), they will let you in without). Great place to visit!

Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia
Address of the main building: Leninskie Gori, 1.
Lomonosov Moscow State University is one of the oldest and largest classical universities Russia, one of the centers of Russian science and culture, located in Moscow. Year of foundation January 12, 1755. The University has more than 600 buildings and structures at its disposal, including The main building on Sparrow Hills. Their total area is about 1 million m2. We had a private tour inside the main building and it was amazing. One of the must seen attractions in Russia! #moscow #university #trip #instatravel
Red Square in Moscow
Red Square is the main square in Moscow, located between the Moscow Kremlin and Kitay-Gorod. Total length — 330 meters, width — 75 meters, area — 24,750 m2. Nearest metro stations: Okhotny Ryad, Teatralnaya, Revolution Square and Kitay-Gorod. Every time I come to Moscow I go to the Red Square. Every time it impresses me like the first time. It looks amazing both during day light and at night. Since ancient times, the square has served as a place of bargaining, where temporary and permanent shopping malls were built for many centuries in a row. In Soviet times, military parades and demonstrations took place on the square, after the USSR collapsed it began to be used for public events and concerts. #trip #redsquare #moscow
Russian Armed Forces Cathedral
Russian Armed Forces Cathedral
[Russian Gaming World·Daily Shot]
Russian Armed Forces Cathedral
Located in the "suburbs" of Moscow's Patriot Park, the Church of the Resurrection, also known as the Christ the Savior Church, officially opened to the public in June 2020.
👀It's also a "Disneyland" of military themes, where you can not only watch the drama of the Soviet army occupying the Reichstag building in Berlin, but also watch films praising many battles in Russian history.
[Smart] Bishop Stefan, the leader of the Eastern Orthodox Church, praised the "Armed Forces Cathedral": "Only a country that respects God can build such a magnificent cathedral." Before becoming a priest, this bishop was a military officer in the Soviet and Russian missile forces, so he has a special appreciation for military-themed churches.
Together with Russia, let's launch a winter plan.
How beautiful the fairyland is, go out and take a look. The closest trip to the fairyland started from Russia.
In my eyes, Russia is proud and capricious, with a combination of red sentiment and nostalgic atmosphere. The most important thing is that I want to go to Russia to see the snow and the most beautiful aurora.
What are the famous tourist attractions in Russia? There are the Kremlin, Red Square, Lake Baikal, the Winter Palace, Peter the Great's Summer Palace, Kazan Cathedral... Here, I recommend coming to Russia to see the snowy scenery, which will definitely not disappoint you.
Under normal circumstances, play for 10 days, fly there and back, prepare the strategy in advance, and bring your family to meet the winter plan together.
Moscow Never Sleeps
Moscow one of the quit unusual destinations for many people where you can find old architecture from USSR and modern Skyscrapers.
Day time or Night time you can always find things to do like museums, shops, bars, clubs and etc.
To more experience the culture try to use public transport like subway with unique architecture.
Taxi quit easy to catch but probably you’ll be stuck in long hour traffic jams. Additionally people in Moscow not quit welcome. Service in banks could be better.
Overall it’s good place to visit.

Memories of Moscow
Over the past years I have visited Moscow many times and, particulary in summer, enjoyed the city, the beautiful metro stations, the red square and the friendly people.
At the edge of Europe it does have many European features and especially during the warm summer months a pleasure to visit. It reminded me much more of Paris than an eastern European country. On day trips to the edge of the city there are markets with plenty of fresh berries and other food prepared by the local farmers.
In town you can stroll around the red square and marvel the beauty of the buildings. Or just take the metro a few stops get out at a random place and walk around. You are sure to find a place to have a coffee with one of their delicious cakes or lunch in the many restaurants.

Modern Kremlin
#celebratewithtrip
The Izmaylovo district in Moscow is one of the most visited places by tourists, because this neighborhood is located in the modern Izmaylovo Kremlin and the souvenir market that is placed around it.
It is a “modern kremlin” that has nothing to do with the historic Moscow Kremlin located on Red Square. On the contrary, it is a cultural and entertainment complex with buildings constructed between 1998 and 2017, and which are beautiful replicas of old historic Russian buildings.
Inside the buildings and towers of the Izmaylovo Kremlin, you will find a wide variety of museums. My favourite one had to be the vodka museum
There is just so much thing to do that you can’t miss this place

Moscow Red Square
#celebratewithtrip
Red Square is a vibrant burst of colour amid Moscow's severe Soviet architecture. Indeed, the colourful, ice-cream-like profusion of St Basil's domes seem incongruous next to the stark red Kremlin walls. Add in GUM, the square's expansive grey department store, and you have an odd medley of styles and eras.
Its history is marked with many military and political events, but it is now a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is still an impressive sight
The square has much to offer and I personally recommended to come both in the day and night and the view is totally different.

Moscow
Today, Moscow is a thriving, exuberant capital city that overflows with life, culture and sometimes traffic. A sprawling metropolis, and among the largest cities on the European continent, Moscow is home to numerous museums, Soviet-era monoliths and post-Soviet kitsch, but continues to pave the way forward as Muscovites move into the 21st century.
💚 The Arbat
🚇 Arbatskaya subway station, line 3 and 4.
The street is close to the Ministry of foreign affairs. (I will do a post about it).
It’s a pedestrian street about one kilometer long in the historical centre of Moscow, Russia. It forms the heart of the Arbat District of Moscow. Originally the street formed part of an important trade-route and was home to many craftsmen.
🛍 There are shopping malls, stores and restaurants down the street. You can take a long, enjoyable walk and visits to The Memorial apartment of Al. Pushkin, or The museum of wax figures.
