Zeeuws Museum 🇳🇱
#myhiddengems
During my summer vacation, I visited the Zeeuws Museum in Middelburg, Netherlands, and it was a fantastic experience. Located in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Middelburg, this museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the art, history, and culture of Zeeland. The entrance fee was €12, which felt like a great value for the rich collection on display. 🏛️🎨
The museum’s exhibits cover everything from traditional Zeeland costumes and maritime history to contemporary art. I was particularly impressed by the detailed displays on local history and the impressive collection of art from the region. The museum itself is housed in a stunning old abbey, which adds to the charm of the visit.
Nearby, the town of Middelburg offers lovely streets to explore, quaint shops, and charming cafes. The Middelburg Abbey, where the museum is located, is also worth a visit for its historical significance and beautiful architecture. The Zeeuws Museum was a highlight of my trip, offering a perfect blend of history and culture.
