2025 Menteng Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in January)

SevenFriday is a watch brand that has a store in Plaza Indonesia. Besides watch store, they also have a place named SevenFriday space as a restaurant and coffee bar. How I like this space with their medium lighting that is comfortable to hangout, having chit-chat for a longer time. SevenFriday Space serves both of the Asian and Western menus that vary from the salad, lite bites, all day brunch, pasta, noodles, rice dishes, dessert, mocktail, cocktail, juice, coffee, and the other non coffee drink. Here are what I tried : Three Ways Pork Bowl (IDR 75,000) This menu is recommended for a pork fan just like me as there is three different kind of pork servings in a big portion 😄 It wasn't served in a bowl, but on a plate instead. Garlic ginger rice served with charsiu pork jowl, fried crispy pork belly, ground pork, mushroom, spring onions, bokchoy, and soft boiled egg. Fresh From The Press (IDR 45,000) Part of the mocktail drink. This refreshing mocktail consists of lychee, pineapple, lime, and kiwi. The taste isn't sour at all. #cafe #urbanexplorer

Exquise Patisserie itself is a French-inspired patisserie who deliver not only the ambience of French-style street cake shop but also the delicacy of the cake made. As I stepped on the shop inside Rumah Cokro, Menteng, I was welcomed by the white ambiance which is similar with victorian style of most pattisserie in France. It is actually small patissery with some table and one display cake only, but I heart the design a lot. It is pretty overload! The interior design is absolutely lovely, featuring a minimalist style that creates a clean and modern atmosphere. The spacious and warm indoor seating makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. #indonesiatrip delicious coffee choices in the Cikini area, Central Jakarta. Next to Shophaus and Anomali, the location of this newest branch of Kopi Kalyan is very strategic. The building is large, there is lots of parking space. There are several areas, from indoor non smoking with a bar, indoor smoking and outdoor at the back. The facilities are also complete, for WFC it's comfortable because the WiFi is fast and there are plugs in every corner. The prayer room was not left behind either. When it comes to coffee, I don't think there's any need to comment anymore because Kalyan Coffee is not a new brand in coffee. What I applaud is that this brand has always been one of the trend setters in the world of coffee and has never stopped innovating. I tried the signature menu, coffee and snacks, all delicious and according to my taste.

#indonesiatrip A new coffeeshop in the Menteng area which is dominated by white and blue, with a very Japanese vibe inside. It has a cute bar table and a friendly barista who is good at making latte art. The indoor area is not too large but cozy, while the outdoor area is only at the front. For a fairly simple menu, I ordered the Spices Latte which tastes unique, the combination of spices and coffee makes the taste even more delicious plus the latte art is unique and rarely found in other coffeeshops.
