Adelaide Is Not Complete Without Wineries
Adelaide is not complete without visiting a winery. There are a cellar door almost every corner.
There are 3 area for wineries:
- Mclaren Vale
- Adelaide Hills
- Barossa
The pictures attached are located in Mclaren Vale as it is closer to where we are staying in adelaide. As the popular Barossa area for wines is about an hour drive away. But Mclaren Vale can be also very beautiful and filled with many popular well established wineries.
Fox Creek Wines Cellar Door has an aware winning winery and have been crafting regional wines since 1994. The local community here will come on a weekend, to enjoy the great weather and spending family times with kids. Kids will be well entertained with fun and games and even balloon sculpting by Fox Creek Wines themselves while the parents are enjoy the afternoon with great wine and not forgetting great food too! Food is reasonably priced, so you do not need to worry! But take note they only accept card transaction, no cash due to the current covid pandemic.
In addition, if you are planning to buy a few wines back to your home country, they packed the wines really well. Or if you want to order by the carton, you can too! But of course, shipping costs will be covered by you.
I would definitely want to try the other wineries in Adelaide in the future. But be sure to check the weather so as to enjoy that lovely afternoon with your love ones. This was definitely an experience for a city boy like myself.

The d'Arenberg Cube
#australiatrip
This place is amazing! Four levels full of flavours, fun and fantasy. The 360 degree views are breathtaking. We started on the fourth level with a tasting flight of 12 wines and each one carried its own distinct style. Then we made our way down to the incredible Dali exhibition. One piece of his works is usually enough to challenge your visual and emotional capacity, but this space is full of dozens of abstract and surreal perceptions and creations. If that isn't enough the "alternate realities" space on the lower level is a fun parlour of sights, sounds and experiences!
