We experienced a full-scale tour of the fantastic world of glow worms and the setting of the movies "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" in one day. We left Auckland around 7am and headed first to the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. As we went deeper into the limestone cave, a silent boat cruise began with countless glowing glow worms filling the ceiling. The mystical experience was so moving that it took my breath away, as if I was looking up at the stars in the night sky. After that, we took a bus for about an hour south to **Hobbiton Movie Set**. The hobbits' houses scattered across the lush hills were just like in the movie.
