DAY1: Kinati Chariot-Temple of Hathor
DAY2: Karnak Temple-Luxor Temple
DAY3: Temple of Seti I in Luxor—Temple of Horus
DAY4: Kong Ompo Temple
DAY5: Abu Simbel Temples
🌸The total journey is about 661 miles, and the recommended travel time is about 5 days. It is suitable for history and humanities lovers.
💖Overview of attractions
✔️Temple of Horus. Horus is one of the most important gods in ancient Egypt. He is usually described as an eagle wearing an Egyptian crown. The pharaohs of ancient Egypt regarded themselves as the incarnation of Horus. The whole temple is not very big, there is only one main temple, and there is an eagle-head statue of Horus outside the temple.
✔️Kong Ompo Temple. "Kon Weng Po" means "Golden City" in ancient Egyptian. Like other temples, it also has tall stone pillars and dilapidated temples that look desolate, but what makes it unique is that it has two gates. One gate was built specifically for the falcon god Horus, and the other was built specifically for the crocodile god, so the Kom Ombo Temple is also called the "Twin Temples".
✔️Abu Simbel Temple. This is a temple built by Ramses II to show off himself and attempt to extend his life into the afterlife. The temple has two majestic tower doors, a pillar hall with 48 huge stone columns, two wide courtyards and three sanctuaries. There are also lifelike paintings on the stone walls of the atrium.
☀️Whether it is the majesty of the temple or the mystery of the pyramids, Egypt tells that distant and glorious history in its own unique way. Come, bring your curiosity and spirit of adventure, and embark on this journey through time and space together, letting your soul fly freely in the civilization of ancient Egypt!

Just returned from Egypt and I want to share some heartfelt words with everyone....
👉【About Visa】👈
Egypt currently offers visa on arrival for $25 per person, cash only. Make sure to prepare in advance as they do not accept credit cards. If you really don't have cash, there are two banks next to the visa counter where you can exchange money.
▪️
👉【About Travel Methods】👈
If it's a girl's first time visiting, it's best not to choose a self-guided tour. Although Egypt is generally safe, it's still easy to encounter scammers, and the chances of being overcharged for food, clothing, and other necessities are high. Moreover, Cairo and Luxor have many cultural and historical sites, and without a guide, you miss out on a lot of fun. It's recommended to choose a qualified travel agency for a group tour. If you feel that group tours are not free enough and the budget is higher, you can opt for a private tour.
▪️
👉【About Sun Protection】👈
Make sure to do a good job with sun protection! Physical sun protection is best, but chemical sun protection is also necessary! Once you get there, you'll understand that the temperature is really high and the sun is really strong. If you're not careful, you'll get several shades darker (don't ask me how I know, sob sob...)
▪️

Egypt is a nation filled with open-air museums everywhere!
Driving 500 kilometers from Cairo, you reach Luxor, where the attractions are divided between the East and West Banks. A must-experience is the hot air balloon ride at dawn, which only cost us a little over 400 RMB for two people, making it the cheapest hot air balloon ride in the world. Hot Air Balloon in Luxor
This was the activity that we were looking forward to the most! And it was EPIC!!! Just WOW WOW WOW!!! Getting up early and waiting to get the go ahead that they can start the balloons and get ready, all the anticipation was super exciting! And it did not disappoint! Don't miss out on a Hot Air Balloon ride over the temples of Luxor and a beautiful Sunrise with all the other hot air balloons in the air. Depends on the trip that you book but most if not all of the places will come pick you up at the hotel, put you on a motorboat on the Nile to get to the site and afterwards they drop you off at your hotel. I felt like a kid in a candy shop about this, it's really amazing don't miss out!

Must visit Ancient Egyptian Temple
#2023TravelWish #vianasjourney #awesomepic
We visited Luxor temple as part of our Nile cruise trip. The Luxor temple is one of the main attractions of Luxor and is located in the middle of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile. The impressive statues and structures definitely makes this place worthwhile to visit. I would recommend visiting the temple during the evening, as the temperature cools down a bit. The lightened up statues during the evening paint an beautiful image. From the Luxor temple it is also possible to take a close look at the Avenue of Sphinxes that connects Luxor temple with the Karnak temple complex.
In 2023, let's go to Egypt! 🇪🇬 Explore the mysteries of the pyramids.
Egypt, one of the four ancient civilizations that created human history, has a 7000-year-old civilization that is more brilliant and ancient than Chinese culture. I must go there once in my life and uncover the mysterious veil of history.

Luxor temple
Luxor temple is located at Luxor city. There are many people to visit this temple (field trip for children, tourists and local people). There are many students who study about drawing and they are painting the structure of the temple. Their drawings are so beautiful and creative. At the entrance, you can see many birds (I guess they are pigeons) over there,so you can take picture while birds are flying. #mytripvlog #egypt #luxor
the Karnak Temple Complex
wow wow the Karnak Temple Complex, which is known as the Karnak Temple, is a group of temples, buildings and columns, where expansion and construction continued since the Pharaonic era, specifically the kings of the Middle Kingdom until the Roman era in Luxor in Egypt on the eastern shore. The temple was built for the divine trinity, Amun (Amun Ra in modern times), his wife, the goddess Mut, and their son, the god Khonsu; Each of them has a temple belonging to the Karnak temple complex. Sometimes tourists and non-specialists mean only the Karnak temple, the temple belonging to Amun i Amon Ra.#spooktaculartrip #tripblazers #fallingforfall #infinitypool #mountainview
#staying on the West Bank of the Nile

Luxor is the ancient capital of Egypt.
The ancient Greeks called the city, spread out on the Nile, Thebes. This name was assigned to him in historical sources. Thebes was the capital of Egypt in the second millennium BC, after the era of the pyramids. Instead, the pharaohs and nobles built underground tombs and gigantic mortuary temples - they are perfectly preserved.
Now Luxor is the main city of the governorate of the same name, that is, the region of Egypt. Its population exceeds 100 thousand people, but there are few tall buildings here, so the city looks more like a village.
Private tours to Luxor from Hurghada and Marsa Alam cost 17,000-22,000 R, and this does not include entrance tickets to architectural sights. I spent a month in Luxor and will tell you how to save on a trip, see the highlights of the day and not give a dime to the countless and extremely aggressive tour guides and tour sellers - Luxor is known as the capital of molesting in Egypt.
My itinerary includes the Temple of Karnak, the Avenue of the Sphinxes, the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. I marked their location on the map. You can walk part of the route, but in some places you will have to use public transport and taxis.
Temple of Medinat Habu - Luxor
Temple of Medinat Habu is a popular landmark which you should visit if you are in Luxor. The recommended sightseen time is between one to two hours. The temple is really well preserved and is a pleasure to see in person. It is more comfortable to visit this place in the morning or late afternoon as the weather is quite hot. Although it does not have so many visitors as other more famous sites in the area, having some quite time here is simply amazing. It is open to the public until 5:00 PM.

Luxor Temple
Luxor Temple is a popular and impressive temple which you should visit if you are in Luxor. Expect to spent between two to three hours in this site. The temple is really well preserved and is a pleasure to see in person. I strongly recommend to visit this place during the day and during the night time, the lights makes the whole place to look stunning. There is no need to hire a guide, however, if you are into egyptian culture and want to know more about the history beahind, then you might need one. Local tour guides are abundant and not too expensive. One advantage is that this place closest very late. It is open to the public until 9:00 PM.

The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut
The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut is a mortuary temple of Ancient Egypt located near Luxor. Built for the Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh Hatshepsut. It is considered as one of the most beautiful of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. It is located at Deir el-Bahri which is in the left bank of the Nile river. The king of Egypt had to build tombs and temples to honour the gods and pharaohs and keep their memories alive for all time. Queen Hatshepsut gave the order to build this beautiful temple. She took about fifteen years to build the temple, which told the story of her life. Bring plenty of water and expect to spend between 1 to 2 hours visiting this place.

This is Egypt
I was so happy to visit Egypt. This is the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor city. It was built during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty. It is definitely HUGE and it was carved on the stones. 😱 The entrance fee cost less than 3 euros and you can go inside - unfortunately many os the statues inside were destroyed over time. Definitely worth the visit!

Beautiful Karnak Temple in Egypt
It’s worth to book a trip to Egypt only to visit the Karnak temple. Its so awesome!!! It was great to be able to discover the history from this place. 👏🏻 Many pharaohs have been here. The entrance fee is less than 5 dollars and you have some restaurants near to it. Don’t forget to take a water bottle cause it can be very hot inside. You will forever remember the Temple of Karnak!

Ballon ride in Luxor/Egypt is a MUST
I was super scare about riding a ballon since I haven’t done it before but it’s a MUST. It is really cheap in Egypt comparing to other places in the world. We paid 60 dolares per person and it was amazing. It was completely safe. It is not scare at all! I’m usually scared about being high but I felt safe. Please ride a Ballon in your trip to Egypt. You can even see the Valley of the Kings, where they secret buried all the pharaohs. You will never forget it!

Stunning view on Sunset over Luxor city, Egypt.
Nile river, Hatshepsut temple and valleys of the Kings.
Amazing experience!! Worth it to wake up 4am ❤️🖤
Luxor was amazing! The Valley of the Kings, Tut’s Tomb, and so many other sites to visit. I took a day trip from Hurghada and it was well worth the drive down and back. I’d suggest hiring a driver because roads outside of the main cities have there own “Egyptian driving rules” that foreigners aren’t familiar with like not using headlights at night. Definitely bring lots of water with you!
