Both sides of the road are lined with kapok trees, which are in full bloom. Taoyuan Road is flanked by Taoxia Village and Yuanfen Village, both of which are old villages in Shenzhen. There are two schools and various small shops along the road, making it a very ordinary residential area. If you don't happen to pass by, you won't know that there is such a pink flower road. By car 🚙, it took us approx 25mins on light traffic which is like 18km from Bao'An. Longhua District is a great place if you enjoy city 🌆 walks, food or night entertainment. ❤️ The Experience: Our 1️⃣ First Stop was Yifang Tiandi or Uniworld Mall 🛍️ which is a 600,000 square metre commercial complex, and notably it houses Japan’s Round1 Entertainment Company (first outlet in China) which is a renowned large-scale indoor entertainment facility. Uniworld has some cutting-edge sports 🏃 experience stores, including a pioneering AR technology ⚙️ sports venue, HADO, the nation’s first world-class indoor wind 🍃 tunnel flying experience, V5 SPORTS, an indoor basketball 🏀 court and Chen Lu International Ice ⛸️ Center and others. Besides that, it has like the usual fashion retailers, F&B eateries, typical stuffs in Chinese 🇨🇳 malls. We stopped by @ Sunbo 新寶餐廳 HK Cafe for lunch and ordered Singapore Bihun and Wantan Mee which was really yummy 😋 👍 (4 🌟 Rating). Recommended! There are also a wide variety of Street Food 🍲 here to choose from but do note that the night market street comes alive only during the evenings. You will find BBQ spicy🌶️ stuffs, chicken 🐔 feet, jelly, smelly Tofu, fried yogurt, bubble tea, baked bread 🍞 and etc. We stayed down the road at a hotel 🏨 near Longhua Residential 🏘️ Area which is at the border of everything. There's like photography 📸 shops 🏠 and most importantly.. Tons of eateries, food peddlers and convenience stores around here. There's also many SPAs ♨️, pharmacies and hair 💇 salons too. Right opposite is the HUI HAI Plaza 🛍️ (汇海广场 Mall) which has many eateries, stores and alao the Wanda Cinema (which is a landmark here 📌). There are a lot of Hunan restaurants here which prompted us to try out QinQiJia Hunan Restaurant 🍲 親戚家 (4 🌟 Rating). After dinner we went to Da Ren Fa Mall 🛍️ (RF Mall) for a walk and then to unwind at a pub here listening to the live band 🎶 and having some beer 🍻. 🔚 Conclusion: Longhua is a nice place to hang out and chill that also promises to make you fat 🌕, as there are seriously tons of eateries and food stalls here. You will love this place if you enjoy city 🌆 walks, food and/or night entertainment. If you like more upmarket stuffs, you can also zoom another 2km down the road (one MRT stop away) to 6979 Business Centre or the Rainbow 🌈 Mall.. All within close proximity.
