Fuzhou Lianjiang Beijiaobi Geological Park
is the first place in Fuzhou to be touched by the morning sun. In summer, the brighter the sun, the more beautiful the sea. Walking along the wooden boardwalk leading to the ocean, I feel that my midsummer truly begins. On the drive there, colorful buoys appear like rainbows 'planted' in the sea. The dark green seawater crashes against the rocks, creating white splashes. The sea and sky merge in the distance, with green and blue blending perfectly. You can vaguely see the outlines of small islands in the sea, and the rocks embedded in the water vary in shape and depth due to the constant washing of the waves. 🏞️
Indeed, the bravest enjoy the world first; the most beautiful scenery is often hidden behind challenges. Sitting cautiously on the farthest rock, feeling the sea breeze, I seem to experience the loneliness of fishermen drifting in the boundless sea. The rolling waves in my ears remind me of the passage of time, allowing me to quietly enjoy the relaxation and tranquility of the present moment. 🌊

💧 March-June: Noctiluca scintillans Blue Tears
The peak period for Noctiluca scintillans Blue Tears is April to May each year. They usually appear after 7 PM, and can be seen once it gets dark. These Blue Tears appear in patches and can last for over an hour, with higher levels lasting even longer.

Gui'an Happy World Adventure: Challenge the Limits, Enjoy the Fun!
During my adventure in Gui'an Happy World, I successfully challenged several extreme amusement rides! The thrill and excitement brought by the Speed Windmill and Pirate Ship made my heart feel like it was about to jump out of my chest. The feeling of tension and excitement intertwined is unforgettable to this day. The Flying Boat Surfing allowed me to experience unprecedented speed and passion. At the moment when the water splashed, I felt like a brave sailor conquering the turbulent sea. Although it was a bit regrettable that the roller coaster was not open, the brilliance of other attractions still made me reluctant to leave. Fuzhou's 'Jeju Island', a niche and stunning marine geological park!!
A very niche park that few people know about. As soon as you enter, you get an instant feeling of being abroad. This is a boardwalk leading to the sea. The sea is incredibly blue! On sunny days, you don't need any filters at all! It's a great place to watch the sea, sunrise, and sunset. I would call it the most beautiful seaside village in Lianjiang!
This is the northeastern part of the Huangqi Peninsula, the easternmost part of Fujian—'Pingliuwei Geological Park'. Here, there are boardwalks and viewing platforms, offering a panoramic view of the beautiful coastal scenery.
The marine erosion landforms formed by volcanic rock reefs are diverse and colorful, with steep cliffs, sea erosion caves, sea erosion alleys, sea erosion platforms, and various other marine erosion geological features. Enjoy this stunning coastline all the way, with the Matsu Islands just a stone's throw away. The wind is gentle, the sea is blue, the sky is clear, and the sun shines on the sandy beach.
At night, you can see a sea of glowing blue, and you can't help but marvel at the magical tiny creatures known as blue tears. They look like scattered diamonds in the sea or stars falling into the human world.

Visit Lianjiang for free in July and check out 'Rio de Janeiro'
The recently popular 'Rio de Janeiro' is located in Lianjiang, Fuzhou, specifically at Qiguan Peak in Qida Village. There are many fun attractions around, most of which are free, making it perfect for a budget weekend trip or a special forces-style tour for college students. 👍
1⃣️ Qida Village - Qiguan Peak ⛰️
The domestic version of 'Rio de Janeiro' offers stunning views from the top, worth a visit to overlook the entire fishing village.
Route👇🏻👇🏻
1. Set your GPS to Qiguan Peak in Qida Village, start climbing from the base, and take the famous 1800 steps, which takes about 40 minutes.
2. Set your GPS to Baiyun Temple, start climbing from halfway up the mountain, which takes about 25 minutes.
2⃣️ Pingliu Tail Geological Park
Ticket 🎫: 30 RMB/person

The sea here 🌊 is really blue, but you need to choose a good weather day to visit. It looks even better in sunny weather ☀️ for photos!

I chose the Ruolin Hotel in Dinghai Bay, a 1⃣️-line sea view room with affordable prices. It has a restaurant combining Fujian and Guangdong cuisine 🍴, and it is only about 20 minutes away from Qiguan Peak. Not abroad! In Fujian!! A Rio de Janeiro for the people of Fujian themselves
Fuzhou!! The most worthy mountain to climb! Right in Lianjiang, Fuzhou!! It's very photogenic, remember to go on a sunny day for the best views!! About 1800 steps, takes a little over an hour to climb
🚗: Depart from Fuqing by D-train to Lianjiang Station, take a taxi to Qida Village Qiguan Top, we chose to climb up
❣️Note that when descending the mountain, remember to arrange your pick-up driver in advance. It was dark when we descended, and it was hard to hail a cab, so make sure to start climbing early!!
My Moments have been bombarded with questions, people thought I went abroad
Qi Da Village—After reaching the summit, I felt everything was worth it.
It takes about 40-60 minutes to walk up the mountain and climb 1800 steps
Navigate to 'Qi Guan Ding' where there is a parking lot and many small pavilions selling
food and drinks. If you want to drive up the mountain, navigate to (Qi Da Qi Guan Ding) and park anywhere you like, but since it's all small slopes, it's recommended to place a stone under the wheel after parking! Next, you'll start climbing the slope on foot (about 20 minutes), the path is quite easy to walk, but some places have a steep gradient, so it's not recommended to bring the elderly and children. After reaching the summit, follow the crowd and there are several peak check-in spots. The most photogenic is the mountain peak to the right in front of you after descending a long staircase, the first thing you see is a large rock that's a bit difficult to climb up, you can use both hands and feet. Continue along the rock and the small path on the right is the Rio de Janeiro-style check-in spot. When I went there, it was off-season and not crowded, I only had to queue for a short while, but safety is a must, and it's not recommended for those who are afraid of heights.

It's quite close to Flag Peak, you can come here for your second stop. It is recommended to come after 4:00 PM when the sunlight is softer, and the ins style looks better under dim light😝, and the UV rays are weaker then.
3⃣️ Ha Sha Village
The Lianjiang shipwreck🚢 is right here. Dress in Korean style and you'll feel like the leading lady in a Korean drama😍. If you want to take close-up photos of the ship, you need to wait for the tide to recede (which is usually around 5:00 PM).
4⃣️ Dinghai Bay Beach🏖️
Admission: Free
This beach is one of the 'Three Bays of Fuzhou', and the sand is very soft and comfortable to walk on. It's also a free scenic spot with many recreational facilities, sisters with enough budget can have fun🥳
Accommodation🏨
I stayed at the Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel, and it was my first time staying in a sea view room without any disappointment🥹. The experience was really amazing! I love the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, I could sit for hours, watching the seascape, it's a rare feeling of tranquility😌, and there's also a restaurant combining Min and Yue cuisines🍴
In Lianjiang's Gushi Village, I stepped into Hayao Miyazaki's summer with my mother
Originally, I also wanted to visit Qidacun, but after reading the travel guide, the elderly were dissuaded by the 1800 steps and we drove directly to Gushi Village. My mother doesn't know about Hayao Miyazaki, yet she exclaimed, 'Isn't this a comic world❗'
Mountains and seas, windmills, terraced fields, and various beautiful flowers surround a stone village with distinctive architectural features of Eastern Fujian. Under the sunlight, everything is clean and naturally colored like a comic. The last time I felt so fond of a seaside stone village was Dongsha Fishing Village in Yuhuan, but the atmosphere is completely different, perhaps because the intangible creativity of humanity always sparks new inspiration with nature.
The quaint Gushi Village is actually a long-lived ancient village established in 1713. Nearly a hundred stone houses are built with locally sourced granite, many of which have withstood a century of weathering. From a high vantage point, the orderly saddle walls look simple and adorable under the large windmill. I always feel that Gushi Village is like an old child in the comics, who, no matter the age, always maintains the innocence and curiosity of a child, yet it has clearly endured much hardship. Look, age is just a mark of the years.
Walking into the village's stone tunnel with my mother, who is also an old child at heart, felt like stepping into a kaleidoscope, with the sea on the other side of the tunnel.
Gushi Village is about 8000 meters away from Taiwan's Mazu Archipelago in a straight line across the sea, and it seems that it won't be long before we no longer just gaze across the sea at each other.
No admission fee, parking fee is 10 yuan
There are usually few tourists, the village has a supermarket, B&Bs, coffee shops, and not many restaurants, but it feels like you can bring your own food, enjoy the sea, the mountains, the sun, and have a beautiful time.
I found the most beautiful seaside fishing village in China in Fujian, and it doesn't pale in comparison to those abroad
🙋If you can't go to Rio de Janeiro, then come to the little Rio in Fuzhou~
The scenery is absolutely on par with that of foreign countries👍
It can definitely be counted as one of the niche tourist spots in China👍
And seriously, this is not a photo trick‼️
The reality is even more beautiful than the pictures‼️
.
📍Location: Qiguan Top, Lianjiang County, Fujian
🎫Ticket: Free
🚗Transportation: It is recommended to drive by yourself, about 1 hour's drive from the high-speed rail station.
.
The sea here is really super blue💙The photos are so beautiful without any need for editing, and there are so many angles to take pictures from. The view from the top of the mountain overlooking the entire Qida Village is spectacular~🗽
.
🧗🏻♂️How to reach the top
1️⃣Navigate directly to 'Qiguan Top', there is a large stone monument at the foot of the mountain. When you see the monument, the path to climb the mountain is right beside it, and it takes about 30-40 minutes to reach the top, simple and effective
2️⃣After navigating to Qiguan Top, continue driving upwards until you reach the city wall arch. Then start walking for about 10-20 minutes.
.
🌟Travel Tips
1️⃣For photography, be sure to choose a good weather🔆to see the blue sea. If it's cloudy and foggy, you won't be able to capture anything
2️⃣It is strongly recommended to drive by yourself🚗as transportation is really inconvenient and taxis are hard to hail in this remote area
3️⃣The top of the mountain is quite steep, so be careful when taking photos. Many places do not have railings, so be cautious⚠️

If you don't want to climb 1800 steps
You can drive up to the top of Flag Crown,
Then walk for about half an hour to see
The full view of the entire Qida village and the bay
The seascape between the mountains and the sea is very shocking
Although it's tiring, it's really worth it
So beautiful that it can't be described in words!
Many spots can take beautiful photos
You don't have to queue or crowd on a rock
Be sure to watch your step when posing with protruding shapes!!
Fuzhou to Rio de Janeiro | Crossing mountains and hills just for that one glance of romance
After crossing the mountain ⛰️, there is the sea 🌊. Climbing over 1800 steps, that view from the top of the mountain is worth it! Without leaving the country, you find yourself in "Rio de Janeiro", a coastal village with distinct features, surrounded by the sea on three sides and mountains on one, the scenery is truly beautiful.
📍Qida Village, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province
🚗 Land at Fuzhou Changle Airport, rent a car from the airport, and drive there, it's a 1h drive.
About climbing strategies ✅
The 1️⃣st way❗️ Drive to the mid-mountain, 📍 navigate to Baiyun Temple
There's a parking lot 🅿️ (free) and it takes about 20min to climb to the top
The 2️⃣nd way❗️ Purely walk up, 📍 navigate to Qida Village, there's a big rock with 'Flag Crown Top' written on it, see the steps and climb directly, there are 1800 steps, it takes about 45min
📷📷
🔺 There are several forks on the way up, if you have enough time you can go to each to take photos and see, I personally think each spot has a different style, there's a big rock below that is safe and photogenic, prettier than the mountain top.
🔺 The classic photo spot is outside the iron railing, it looks scary, but it's actually okay once you stand on it, the rock is quite large, and there's a buffer zone below, for friends who are not very brave, the stairs beside are also good for photos.
🔺 Those without drones can help take photos on the mountain, 50rmb/person.
Tips
✅ There's water for sale at the top of the mountain, it's recommended to travel light
✅ If you want to watch the sunset, arrive before 3pm
✅ Choose a time when the weather is good❗️❗️❗️ Good weather makes everything meaningful
✅ Pay attention to safety at the popular photo spots❗️
🏠 Accommodation in Qida Village
Ruolin Hotel by Dinghai Bay, not far from the main photo spots, it's only 20min to Qida Village, very convenient for travel, I love the decoration style, the hygiene is very clean, rest assured during your stay
It's not abroad, it's the Flag Peak in Fuzhou, Rio de Janeiro
After coming back from the Flag Peak, I don't want to go anywhere else.
The Flag Peak is really too beautiful, the air on the mountain is particularly good, and the scenery when we went was a sunny day, far better than the photos.
📍Flag Peak, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province
🚄: High-speed rail directly to Lianjiang
🚗: 🉑Chartered car🉑Carpool
Carpooling to a little above Baiyun Temple means you don't have to climb so far, about 20 minutes to the top of the mountain⛰️, any place is very photogenic
👕: Wear a jacket plus inner layer, it will be hot when climbing, but the wind is very strong at the top of the mountain
Hiking small tips
Go to the toilet before climbing, there are no toilets🚽 on the mountain, the whole journey is stairs, there are 1800 steps, but there are many self-service water sales along the way, go light
📷: There are several check-in spots
1️⃣ The photo spot is on a rock
You need to cross the railing
It's not completely suspended, there are rocks underneath
But still, pay attention to safety!!
2⃣️ There are many prayer plaques hanging on the guardrail
The bright contrast of red and blue is also very suitable for taking pictures!!
The bells ring ding-dong when the wind blows, which is pleasant to the ear, that moment is so comfortable.
3⃣️ On the right side of the internet-famous check-in spot
There is a big rock, you can take pictures of the back or sitting on the side!!
Accommodation in Qida Village🏠🏠

Summer Island Trip·A Guide to the Little Fishing Village on Huangqi Peninsula in Fuzhou
📌Introduction to the Fishing Village:
Located at the northeastern tip of the Huangqi Peninsula in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, Beijiao Village faces the sea on three sides and looks across to the Matsu Islands. Beijiao Village has a developed fishing industry, and its fishing port, where fishing boats gather, is located to the north of the village on the west coast of the Huangqi Peninsula. The island's rugged terrain has led villagers to build houses on the mountains and moor fishing boats in the harbor; they are a group of people who live by the mountains and the sea. The unique geographical location and topography create a magnificent natural landscape with waves crashing against the embankment boulders winding into the sea, and in the distance, the sea merges with the sky🌊
The movie 'So Long, My Son' was filmed here, with the couple Liu Yaoyun's repair shop in the south being constructed by set designers under the mountain rocks of Beijiao Village's fishing harbor, blending seamlessly with the houses on the cliffs behind.
There is also the Beijiao Nose Geological Park: Located in Beijiao Nose, Beijiao Village, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, Beijiao Nose is the very tip of the Huangqi Peninsula, which extends diagonally into the East China Sea along the Fujian coast, and can be considered 'the end of the earth and the corner of the sea.' Inside the Beijiao Nose Geological Park, there is also a natural rock formation attraction called 'Frog Kissing Snake.'

📍Address: Beijiao Village, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City
