Rhein Falls Schaffhausen - Boat Trip

We had booked the Red (small) boat trip and loved it. It takes you to opposite pier in 5 mins and then walk up to lookout. The boat would not reach waterfalls closely but it is still very impressive. The trip by boat right in front of the Rhine Falls is highly recommended. Only directly before the roaring floods do you get an impression of the power of the 600,000 liters of water per second, which plunge 23 meters over a length of 150 meters. I recommend the audio guide boat trip which lasts 30 minutes. The facts about the Rhine Falls are very interesting to hear and give a detailed insight into the formation and history. You can make booking online or buy ticket at ticket machine in the pier. Around noon it gets extremely crowded there. During my visit to Rhine Falls, the sheer power and beauty of Europe’s largest waterfall were truly awe-inspiring. I took a boat ride that brought me right up to the base of the falls, where I could feel the spray and hear the thunderous roar of the water up close. It was an exhilarating experience. Afterward, I climbed up to a higher vantage point, which offered even more spectacular views of the falls and the surrounding landscape. The combination of getting so close to the rushing water and then seeing it from above made the trip unforgettable. #waterfall #100waysoftravel

Amazing rhine falls view from Neufhaussen , best location for photos . access to neufhaussen is very easy from zurich , direct station and then walk for just around 100-200 meter to see this best view . This is a very must visit if coming to switzerand , also accessible as day trip if staying in Lucern . Atleast 1-2 hours is recommended in this area to enjoy views , photos etc

biggest waterfall at bodensee 🤩

The biggest Waterfall close to Bodensee. Very easy access to come here. If you come around bodensea, make sure purchase unlimited pass for train, bus and ferry. Worth it for 3 days access for bodensea boarder: Germany, Switzerland and Austria. At the Rhein fall, make sure bring extra clothes because you will get wet as the boat will come close to the waterfall. Please do come here during summer because the more water, the sun was good for take picture. #bodensee
