There are many small paddy fields in the Maruyama area of Kumano City(Mie Prefecture) and it is called a thousand plate fields. The landscape is wonderful, and it is said to be the best landscape of terraced paddy fields in Japan. We self drive there. Even the drive there is beautiful. So much greenery and mountains.
