Review of The Messengers by JWC
I recently visited a cafe called The Messengers by JWC, and instead of a thousand words, I'll just start with this: "This is truly a 'cafe you want to hide in'!" The moment I stepped inside, the hustle and bustle of busy Bukit Bintang disappeared, and the soft aroma of coffee beans wafted through the tranquil bookshelves, gently enveloping me. 📚☕
I ordered a single-origin hand-drip coffee—you could choose from a variety of origins, including Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, and Sumatra. I chose the Johor single-origin, which had subtle notes of jackfruit, honey, and licorice. 🍯✨ Just the description alone makes it seem special. They even roast and grind their own coffee beans on-site.
And I couldn't miss their signature dish, the **unique "Iced Tiramisu"**. It retains the classic tiramisu charm while remaining soft and refreshing, a bit like the "ice surprise of desserts."
The interior of the cafe has a truly emotional photo zone that makes you wonder, "Is this really a cafe?" A quiet space surrounded by bookshelves, soft lighting, and stylish furniture... it literally feels like a "slow cafe break."
In fact, during peak hours, you might have to wait 15-20 minutes for your hand-drip coffee. But even the wait feels more relaxed in the atmosphere.
This atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for those moments when you need a place to blank out while reading! It's a "little comma in the city." It's a great place to sit quietly, savoring each sip, each page. However, the price range is a bit high by Malaysian standards, so it's better to visit for the "ambiance and quality" rather than value.
