#beachlife This time i visited Koh Khai Island in Phuket. Koh Khai consists of 3 small islands, Khai Nok, Khai Nai and Khai Nui. And i will visit one of them: Koh Khai Nok. Koh Khai Nok is a small island nestled in Phang Nga Bay, only about 30 minutes drive from the east coast of Phuket. Many things you can try in this island such as: swimming and watersport activities (banana boat, jet ski, etc). Fun fact about Koh Khai Nok is this island has an unique shape, when viewed from a distance looks somewhat like a fried egg surrounded by blue sea. The name "Khai" meaning egg in Thai refers to the island's shape. We signed up for a half day islands hopping tour during our vacation in Phuket Island. The tour brought us to three small islands near to Phuket- Khai Nai, Khai Nui and Khai Nok. It cost around THB 600-700 per pax. Khai Nai and Khai Nok have white sandy beaches where you can rent parasol seats at THB150. Sit and relax on the seats or you can swim and snorkel with the fish which are very close to the shore. Khai Nui does not have a beach but the speedboat will stop close to the island and let you snorkel in the crystal clear water to see the beautiful corals, tropical fish and sea urchins. You can also opt for a full day trip where lunch is included in the package. For half day trip you will leave the third island (Khai Nok) at noon. Beverage and snacks will be provided throughout the trip. Khai Nui does not have a beach but the speedboat will stop close to the island and let you snorkel in the sea. We managed to see beautiful corals, tropical fish and sea urchins. It's better to wear a life jacket when you snorkel even if you know how to swim as the current is quite strong. Those who do not want to snorkel can stay on the speedboat. There were no wind and waves that day, so it was the best choice for me who was afraid of seasickness. We went to Dandao with blue sky, white clouds, and super sea water.
