On the island, renting a motorcycle is the most convenient. You can tour the entire island in one day. During festivals, it's not advisable to walk in for accommodation or motorcycle rentals as they are hard to find. For motorcycles, it's recommended to get an automatic with larger tires to avoid tire punctures.

Then in the morning, a car from the hotel came to pick me up and took me to the Pak Nam Municipality Pier. I took a speedboat across for about 30-40 minutes. The boat fare was 350 baht. Koh Phayam is very beautiful. When I went, there were few tourists. It was like staying on a private beach. I chose to stay at Nithiporn Resort, a beachfront resort. The sea is soooooo beautiful.

Accommodation review on Koh Phayam This trip, we stayed at the Blue Sky Resort. There are 4 accommodation zones to choose from: - Villa Seaview This room is located on the beachfront and is a 2-storey wooden house. - Villa Lagoon This room is located on the riverside, which is a mangrove forest. The house looks like the first zone. - Villa Zone R and Zone L The house looks the same on the mangrove forest side, but Zone R has stairs that lead directly down to the water. On this trip, we stayed in Zone R. The room rate is 3,999 baht per night, with an additional 1,000 baht. Up to 2 additional guests can be added. The period we went was during the monsoon season, so the atmosphere was a bit gloomy. The recommended period is October-April. It stops raining on the Andaman coast. However, we are not sure about the price difference. When the water recedes, the water in the mangrove forest will be black and you can see the sand like in the first pictures. However, when we returned, the water was high and the sun was out. The water was green like in the last pictures. The photos were beautiful. My sister said it was a sinful trip. In conclusion, it was a very impressive place to stay, but don't come during the same period as us. The staff provided excellent service. There are many places to visit on the island, but I didn't go anywhere because it rained all the time. They have motorcycles for rent. 200 baht each, petrol is 50 baht per bottle.
