I stayed at the #Quanji Hotel on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. There were many clothing stores nearby, 3 pieces for 100rmb. It was very good to buy. I couldn’t fit my luggage on the way back😂 Xiamen has a lot of food that is very similar to Taiwan, but with local characteristics. I like the dry fried ginger duck very much, it’s really delicious! Recommend #Adai Ginger Duck. Locals eat here. The master who massaged our feet and friends from Xiamen University all recommend this. You must eat it when you go to Xiamen. There are many branches. The one I ate is near Zhongshan Road. Pay attention to the business hours. They all close at 20:00 and there is no midnight snack. Dining at the Back Cat Guest Restaurant in Kinmen was truly an unforgettable experience! This reservation-only spot offers warm hospitality from the owner and delicious drinks that make you feel right at home. The adorable cats playing around the restaurant add a delightful touch to the dining experience, making it hard to resist interacting with them. We ordered the Florence-style stewed tripe, the signature seafood squid ink pasta, and a pizza. The squid ink pasta was packed with tender shrimp, clams, and squid, paired with fresh tomatoes, herbs, and lemon, creating a burst of flavor that lingers in your memory! Although the steak and Matsusaka pork looked tempting, their portions were too large for us to try this time—something to look forward to on our next visit! The overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, truly a paradise for food lovers!

A four-day, three-night trip to Kinmen includes staying at the charming Cicada Greece in Jin-Ning Township. Every evening at 7:30 PM, there’s a free guided tour at Qingbing Office in Jincheng. The tour guide will lead visitors from the General’s Office, taking them on a fascinating loop around the area, sharing engaging stories about architecture, history, and culture. It’s an experience not to be missed! Besides the Qingbing Office in Jincheng, there are also free guided tours available at Shami Station and Qionglin Settlement. Kinmen is home to numerous military bunkers, traditional Min-style buildings, Western-style mansions, Wind Lion Gods, and settlements, all worth exploring one by one. You can also bike across the Kinmen Bridge to Little Kinmen, and on clear days, enjoy a view of the coastal areas of Xiamen.
