The Annapurna Circuit Trek was such an unforgettable experience. I did it over 18 days, taking it slow, and that was definitely the way to go. I did a bunch of short side treks, which gave me time to enjoy the views and get used to the altitude. The landscapes were incredible—everything from forests to huge snowy mountains. It was tough at times, especially with the altitude and the long hikes, so I was really glad I did it with a group of friends. Even though it was challenging, I’m so happy I did it. Thorong La Pass at 5416m is still the highest Ive hiked so far. So proud of it, surely will try to beat it on another hike 😁 #mountainhike #nepal #mountainview #himalayas

I just returned from an amazing trek to Tilicho Lake, and I’m still in awe! 🌟 This stunning lake, perched at an altitude of 4,919 meters, is one of the highest in the world, and the views are simply breathtaking! 😍✨ The trek took about 10-12 days, and for around $500 USD, I had a private guide who made the adventure even more special. We stayed in charming lodges, and while meals and water were separate, the local cuisine was a delightful experience! 🍜💧 🎒 Don’t have the right gear? No problem! I rented everything I needed in Kathmandu (Tamel) for about $100 USD. I finally get around to sharing one of my best high altitude trekking and glacier crossing experiences. This is truly tough and you need to have a tent. You need to do an overnighter. Your progress will be slow as breathing is hard at 5000 - 550 meters. You don’t need to take any water if you go in July/ August as there are tiny water streams everywhere. Now up there nothing talks , nothing, walks, nothing grows. You will truly be alone. Trekking around the lake is extremely tough as you have to cross either one or two glaciers depending on the route you choose. The second glacier which is the last leg of your circle is risky as avalanches will frequently come down from Mr. Tilicho to crash into the lake. As soon as Nepal is open again for tourism I will attempt to climb Mt. Tilicho which looms over the lake like a god-like guardian. #hikingtrails

When I walked into the quiet Ma Nan, I was infected by the joyful atmosphere of the town. The people here are friendly and welcoming. It is a major town on the Annapurna mountainside and a beautiful town surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Its beauty requires a fine taste. There are also many beautiful landscapes that surround the surrounding, making it even more unique.
