💞Reasons to recommend: It's a city with unique and beautiful natural scenery, plenty of cool photo spots, and a relaxed local vibe.
🗓️Travel planning: A 1-day trip starting early from Taipei by bus or train, spending a full day in Keelung is just right.
🏖️Environment/Facilities: It's a seaside city with bus access to all attractions.
📍Location: Keelung
When looking for delicious food in Keelung, you definitely have to visit the Keelung Miaokou Night Market!
Although it's called a night market, it actually opens at 12 PM, and more vendors start operating after 5 PM, continuing until midnight!
The transportation is extremely convenient. You can get off at Keelung Train Station and walk for ten minutes to reach the market 🤩. From Ai 2nd Road to Ai 3rd Road on Ren 3rd Road, there are numerous food stalls. In just a short distance of 300-400 meters, nearly 200 stalls are gathered.
I highly recommend the bite-sized sausages 🤤. You must pair them with a clove of garlic. The small sausages can be bought individually, are super juicy, and have a nice charcoal flavor, all at a reasonable price.
For souvenirs, I choose Jin Xing Ma Lao, which is made with granular peanuts. It has a great texture and comes in many flavors.
Keelung Food Trip! Ren'ai Market, a hub of local delicacies.
Keelung Food Trip! Ren'ai Market, bustling with activity, offers a variety of local snacks and Keelung specialties. You can also find nail salons, hairdressers, coffee shops, and clothing stores. The second floor is a haven for food lovers.
One highly recommended spot is Wu Ji Noodle House 😍. There's almost always a line, and the highlight is the over 30 plump and juicy oysters in each serving. The oysters are fresh without any fishy smell. The braised pork adds a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness, and the dish is topped with plenty of shrimp and a half-boiled egg. Enjoying a bite of braised rice with an oyster is pure bliss 🤤
Embrace the Natural Beauty of Chaojing Park
Chaojing Park, located in Keelung, Taiwan, is a seaside park boasting magnificent natural landscapes and rich artistic installations. 🎉Spectacular Sea Erosion Rocks and the Majestic Symphony of Waves
The most attractive feature of Chaojing Park is undoubtedly its unique sea erosion rock formations. These rocks have been sculpted into strange shapes by years of sea water erosion. Standing by the sea, you are greeted by the sound of crashing waves and the slightly salty sea breeze, making you feel refreshed. The sea erosion caves and rock holes before you seem like a natural art gallery, full of nature's craftsmanship. Every angle you capture looks like a postcard-worthy scene, making it a place where you can spend hours taking photos or simply admiring the view.
👍Art Installations Add a Touch of Whimsy
In addition to the natural scenery, Chaojing Park is dotted with adorable and interesting art installations, adding a lively touch to the serene sea view. Whether you come with friends, family, or children, you will find your own moments of joy here.

The Most Popular Bus Stop in Taiwan
When talking about Taiwan, many tourists might think of the colorful fishing villages. But today, we're introducing the most popular seaside bus stop in Taiwan. It's a must-visit spot; otherwise, people might say you haven't truly been to Taiwan. The downside is that it's quite a long walk from the train station, but it's definitely worth it for the photos. The sea is amazing, with waves crashing beautifully, making for stunning pictures.
Chu Jian Happiness Hotpot Buffet at Keelung Chaojing Park
Chu Jian can be said to have started from Keelung, and it's not an exaggeration. This newer restaurant is located inside Keelung Chaojing Park, where you can enjoy the sea view and the view of Jiufen. The scenery is top-notch, and it gets incredibly crowded on holidays.
The Chaojing branch operates as a self-service buffet. You start by ordering the main dish and soup base, and then you can pick your favorite side dishes and hotpot ingredients. The quality of the hotpot items is quite good, with options like egg dumplings, tofu, squid balls, shrimp balls, and more. There's also a wide selection of side dishes. The overall environment is very comfortable, highly recommended 👍
Fangyu Farm - Keelung Qidu Health Restaurant
Located in Qidu, near the expressway, it is actually very convenient to get there. There are not many parking spaces at the intersection, and if it's full, you have to park outside.
Overall, in terms of dishes, unit price, and cost-performance ratio, it is very cost-effective. The set meal for two is 850 yuan, which can definitely make you super full. The base is organic vegetarian food, paired with their own special dishes.
Among them, dishes like Guava Chicken Soup, Perilla Leaf Omelette, and other vegetarian foods are quite rare outside, and they also taste very delicious. It is recommended to make a reservation on holidays~

Keelung night market is a must visit spot for tourist who truly wants to experience being a local at night market. As authentic as it can gets, every stall actually has its very own sitting arrangements, unlike other night market where food are eaten on-the-go.
Despite its location near the harbour, it’s actually cooling throughout the night. The roads are wide enough where air circulate fast to cool the streets down.

Wangyou Valley Keelung
One of my best day trips from Taipei was to Wangyou Valley. I took a bus to Keelung City and suppose to have a seafood lunch in the Bisha Harbour Seafood market. Once I arrive at the market, I was not so hungry yet and saw on the map nearby have the park. In less than 10 minutes drive I arrived at such much nature place. Next time definitely will come here for hiking.

Head to Keelung, where you can see the sea.
I've been to Taipei many times.
I thought I'd like to go somewhere a little different for once, and this is where I came up.
I got off at Keelung Station and took a bus around.
I went up to a hilltop where I could see the ocean.
There are lots of shipyards nearby.
I could see containers and lots of cats, and that alone made me happy.
The mountain in front of the station has the word KEELUNG written on it.
It had a Hollywood-like worldview.

China's largest island, Baodao, Taiwan, and small-scale attractions recommended - Chaojing Park
refers to China's largest island, the island of Taiwan, most people will think of romantic Kenting or beautiful Hualien, in fact, can see the super beautiful coastline below the Jiufen next to Taipei. This place is the tide mirror park in Keelung. The weather on

In the early years, there were frequent pilgrims on the Keelung Temple, as well as performances of rivers and lakes. They began to appear as mobile vendors selling food, drink, and drink, and later became famous Keeliao snacks at home and abroad. Among the many foodies' comments, Miaokou snacks were rated as the variety of foods, the crown of the whole Taiwan!
Kelong Miaokou Night Market is concentrated in the streets of Ai 4th Road and Rensan Road. Like other night markets in Taiwan, the night market here is also developed around the temple. The development of the Keelung Miaokou is inseparable from the Moji Palace. With the incense of the Moji Palace, many mobile food stall vendors gathered in the temple (the open space in front of the temple), gradually becoming a market, slowly, the temple mouth snacks The popularity is above the Moji Palace.

Taiwan, Keelung
Keelung is a paradise for photographers. As long as the weather is good, the riverside of Zhengbin Fishing Port is always crowded with long guns and short guns in the evening.
The fishing port has 15 small and colorful houses, which the locals call "Little Venice", like the colorful islands of Venice, Italy, and the Ganchuandong Cultural Village in South Korea. As the sun sets, you can take pictures of fishing boats, small houses, and river reflections.
Seeing that photographers are carrying a tripod and shaking their black cards in front of the camera, they think that by shaking the black card, the amount of light entering a certain area of the picture is reduced. To achieve the perfect long exposure effect, this technology was first developed in Taiwan.
Now the mainland's shooting techniques have been changed to use gradient mittens, but the different lenses use different light reduction mirrors, it is too expensive, you can see the affordable and interesting method of shaking black cards, it is also very interesting Things.
Come here for the New Year, the temperature is just right~

Relative to the overcrowded wild willow, Peace Island with similar landforms has more of a sense of human history.
This small outlying island, as the gateway to Keelung Port, has been guarded for more than 400 years.
Geographically speaking, Peace Island can be divided into left and right sides. On the left is a seawater swimming pool (reconstructed from a nine-hole abalone farm). It is the best choice for the entire Taipei area to reach the seaside in 30 minutes.
On the right is a unique landform such as a million people, a word hole, a tofu rock, a scorpion stone, etc. This is also the most anticipated part of Keelung. The
sedimentary rocks and sandstones are cut by the northeast monsoon of nature, forming a unique tofu rock and mushroom head landform. A group of photographers watched the ebb tide of the Peace Island tofu rock and photographed a rare sunrise. The photo was discovered by CNN of the American Chinese website. It was shocked as a man of heaven and jumped into one of the most beautiful sunrise observation points in the world.
Entering the Alabao Secret to see the tofu rock, you need to watch the tide time. In the summer, two o'clock in the afternoon and two o'clock in the morning are two ebb tide times. This space can walk along the path all the way into the sea.
For reasons of safety and environmental protection, the Alabama secret is now conserved by the government.
The re-repaired mystery will reappear in front of the world in the form of intertidal bio-protection, regaining the balance between humans and the ocean.
From Taipei to Jiufen, all the way to the mountain road, check card warm station, Shifen station, monkey station.
Warming station, revisiting Liang Jingru "warm".

Keelung Peace Island Park
Address: No. 360, Pingyi Road, Zhongzheng District, Keelung City, Taiwan
Type: Cave, geological landform, seashore/beach
main attractions: Thousands of layers: thousands of layers of tofu rock topography; Fanzi Cave: The ancient Dutch language is left in the stone wall of the Fanzi Cave. Now it has become one of the monuments of Keelung; the masses of people: the masses of people on the rocky shore at the northern end of the Peace Island, which have formed many strange stones due to the weathering of the sea erosion all year round, seemingly Bathtubs, petals, dressing tables, etc.
Opening time:
Monday-Sunday 8
With the magic of nature, Alabao Bay in the peaceful island of Keelung has always been well-known in the world of photography, one of the most beautiful sunrise spots in the world. The chessboard rock of the sea eclipse and the large tract of mushroom rock are rendered in a dazzling green under the immersion of sea water. Although it is impossible to see the sun in the winter, it is very difficult to see it because of the protected area. It is still in a state of closed maintenance and is expected to be open to tourists in 2019. It is definitely a tourist attraction not to be missed when traveling to Taiwan.

🌟 Far East Lai's Pan-Fried Bun|TWD12
It's said that there's a queue as soon as it opens. Each pan-fried bun costs only 12 TWD, which is super cheap🤩. The biggest difference between this and a Sheng Jian Bao is the filling. Sheng Jian Bao is mainly filled with meat, while the pan-fried bun is mainly filled with vegetables. I chose the cabbage and meat filling. It's as big as a fist, crispy on the bottom, and quite juicy inside, but overall a bit oily.

No. 91, Zhong 3rd Road, Ren'ai District, Keelung City
🌟 Wu Ji Noodle House|TWD160
When in Keelung, you must try the seafood! This place is famous for its oyster rice bowl, with plump and delicious oysters🤤. I tried the mixed rice bowl, which includes shrimp, oysters, egg, and braised pork rice. The oysters were delicious, and I also tried the Keelung macaron, which is somewhat like sausage casing wrapped around egg tofu, quite unique.

🌟 Shisheng One-Bite Sausage|TWD8
A must-try at Keelung Miaokou Night Market is the one-bite sausage. You can buy them one by one. They have a super fragrant charcoal-grilled flavor, are very juicy with not much fat. The lady there taught me the golden ratio: one sausage with half a clove of garlic. You must add garlic😆.

Keelung has many must-buy souvenirs!
In addition to its delicious food, Keelung also offers many must-buy souvenirs. Here are two highly recommended stores where many locals line up to buy.
🌟 Lian Zhen Pastry Shop | TWD55
Everyone comes here to buy the Taro Balls 😍 A box of 4 costs 55 TWD. They are quite heavy, filled entirely with taro paste, and not too sweet. Note that they should not be kept at room temperature for too long, so consume them as soon as possible. Personally, I find them just okay 🙈
📍 Lian Zhen Pastry Shop
No. 42, Ai 2nd Road, Ren'ai District, Keelung City
🌟 Li Hu Pastry Shop | TWD45
A century-old shop in Keelung, known for its curry puffs, mung bean cakes, salted egg yolk pastries, and pineapple cakes. The traditional and simple packaging allows you to buy them individually. Many locals buy them by the box.
