Most peaceful staycation at Hideout Horizon
#bucketlistreboot
Hideout Bali is a property complex of 6 different villas, set in between lush jungle beside a beautiful river at remote village Selat of Karangasem Regency. All the villas are unique and completely made of natural materials like bamboo and glass. The villas are open and spacious yet allowing complete privacy to the guests. This was our second time in a hideout property. Despite being in remote location, Hideout offers incredible view of river and rice fields and is close to attractions in Bali like Pura Besakih, Tirta Ganga and Pura Lempuyang . It is recommended to book as early as six months prior as it’s very popular and usually booked in advance.
Hideout Horizon exceeded our expectations in all way. It was a relaxing experience to listen to the sound of water and stay in an open natural place in the middle of jungle. There was a small kitchen should you wish to prepare simple meals like egg, noodles or coffee. You can find rain shower in open setting, board games and Balinese traditional musical instruments in the villa. The property has a common restaurant with a beautiful river view. It is bit remote hence you won’t find good internet connection and there might be bugs and ants since it is a jungle. So if you have work to do remotely and are not used to sleep in open space, it is not recommended to book your stay here. It’s better if you have ample time and want to relax in nature if you are visiting here.

Pura Basuk
Pura Basukian Puseh Jagat is headquartered at Jl. Gunung Mas, Ds. Besakih, Kec Rendang, Besakih, Rendang, Kabupaten Karangasem, Bali , Indonesia. Pura Basukian Puseh Jagat operates in the Hindu temple industry with a customer rating of 5. Besakih Temple is located in the North West of Bali, near Bali's highest and most important and most spectacular Volcano, Mount Agung.
The area is on an altitude of about 1,000 metres and is located on the southwestern slopes of Mount Agung, which is easily accessible from any areas of Bali.
If you are coming from Kuta, Seminyak, Jimbaran, and Denpasar, by heading to Sanur, then taking the Kusamba Bypass to Klungkung.
Head north through Klungkung, taking the righthand turnoff at Menanga to Besakih. The journey fom Kuta should take about 2 hours, and depending on travel time and traffic conditions. There is no public transpotation to get to Besakih Temple, so easiest way is by hiring car with driver 😬👍

Gembleng W
Gembleng Waterfall (Air Terjun Gembleng) is a beautiful little waterfall on the less-touristy side of Bali. It’s not a huge waterfall but the infinity-style rock pools that you can plunge in and enjoy the breathtaking views make it well worth visiting.
It’s way less busy here compared to other waterfalls on the island and the extensive view and backdrop are absolutely stunning no matter what time you visit.
You can expect to plunge into infinity-style rock pools with the most epic view of the jungle and nearby rice fields. It’s truly a picture-perfect hidden gem.
On rare occasions, there are still religious ceremonies performed at Gembleng Waterfall. During these times the waterfall is closed for the public.
While visiting, keep in mind this is a holy place for Balinese people so treat it with respect and pay attention to politeness, especially when meeting locals. They are sharing their beautiful land with you after all.

Taman Ujun
Taman Ujung Karangasem. This is like a huge park with a beautiful pond and palace in the center. There is also an area at the top of a very high stairway which we passed on. They charge 50,000 idr for admission. A touch high in my opinion. The palace is beautiful but no longer furnished. It's main attraction is that it is not as crowded as Tirta Ganga. Worth a stop if you're touring around.
The history of it and the views close to the see is awesome!!! Very well conserved and lots of nature around it. The drive from Denpasar is about 2 hours through the highway, but totally worth it. It has a small museum inside with the history of the monarchy in the island.

Taman Jinj
Taman Jinja Bali, this new tourist attraction opened on February 14, 2019 to coincide with Valentine’s Day (Valentine’s Day), however even though it is classified as quite viral enough on social media This is because Bali Jinja Park presents a special place for those who love the beauty of nature, like selfie tours or hunting for Instagram photos. The latest tourist attractions are indeed very loved now, not only for young people, but also children and adults, because in that place they find a different calm and atmosphere, including children can feel closer to nature, because the tendency of children currently playing more and struggling with gadgets that many have a negative influence on children’s development. The presence of the Bali Jinja Park in the midst of Balinese citizens who need the latest places, makes this place already crowded with visitors especially later on holidays and weekends.

Gemitir (a
Gemitir (also known as gumitiror mitir) is probably known everywhere else in the world as the Mexican marigold. In Bali this flower species is practically the unofficial regional flower of the island. See, gemitiris essential in Hindu culture and ceremonies, that's why its only natural to see baskets and baskets of the yellow petals in traditional markets all around Bali. While its still awesome to see the stacks of picked gemitir, its so much better to see them in their natural habitat. What’s a beautiful taking a picture around the flower!
As this village is nestled in East Bali and not far from one of the holiest (and unfortunately one of the most touristy) temples in Bali – Besakih Temple – many of these flowers are planted by the locals and used in daily Balinese offerings.

Coffee Tasting in Nongan Bali: Sips of Paradise
#getgoing2025
Coffee tasting in Nongan was a sensory delight. Surrounded by lush plantations, I learned about traditional coffee-making methods and savored rich brews, including the famed Luwak coffee. The earthy aroma and complex flavors were unforgettable. Each sip was a taste of Bali’s dedication to quality and tradition, making it an experience I’d gladly relive.

Wanna Grill

Wanna Grill, a small restaurant in a vast rice field
A mysterious restaurant, hidden behind a building on the side of the road. Walk along a small canal for a bit to find the restaurant.
The corner of the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the rice fields. On the day we went, the wind was cool and comfortable.
If you're lucky and there are no clouds blocking the view, this is one of the best places to see Mount Agung.
The owner is very friendly and provides free tea, free snacks, and free fruits after your meal. It's not easy to find something like this in Bali. A real gem.
The dishes are big and delicious. We had grilled chicken, pork ribs, and fried rice. Every dish was really delicious.
The food may take a little while to wait.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a place that's not a big restaurant and focuses on quietness.

East Bali’s Swaying Palms and Sparkling Seas
Amed and Karangasem boast a picture-perfect coastline where swaying coconut palms fringe the black sand beaches.
Imagine yourself gazing out at the sparkling ocean, framed by endless rows of these majestic trees. Their fronds rustle gently in the breeze, whispering secrets of island life.
It was a true escape, where nature's beauty unfolds under a canopy of swaying coconut palms.
Perhaps the next would be HongKong breeze? Would really love to! #winhkflight

Savana Tianyar, a Very Beautiful Place in East Bali
"Savana Tianyar is a tourist spot in Bali which is truly extraordinary. Unlike Bali's tourist destinations in general, namely the beach. However, here you will see a wide expanse of savanna that spoils the eye. In fact, it's like being in the African savanna.
The location is in Karangasem. This area is in the eastern part of Bali. In fact, this natural tourist attraction has been around for a long time. It's just that not many people know about it.
You can take pictures here with Mount Agung in the background. If you're lucky, you can take a photo with a slightly cloudy background. So the photo will look even prettier."#tianyar #savanatianyar #bali #indonesia

Besakih Te
Besakih Temple is considered the holiest place in Bali and is figured as the Mother Temple of Bali. The grand Besakih Temple is much more appealing in terms of historical perspective. This holy temple could be dated back around 1000 years ago. There has been some mention about the existence of the grand temple complex dated back to 1007 AD and during the 15th century, Besakih has been regarded as the center for the Hinduism in Bali Island.
As in any other temples in Bali, visiting Besakih Temple requires proper clothes such as sarong, sash and a proper top. If you don’t bring your own sarong or sash, you can rent it in the area. During the day, the temple will be packed with visitors and pilgrims, therefore, for a more convenient visit, you might want to go to Besakih in the morning or the evening.

What is yo
What is your impression of Bali, blue sky and white clouds, sea beaches, or seafood dinner? For me, in addition to these, there is culture here.
Karang Asen is not at the beach. For Bali, which is famous for its sunny beaches, it is small and there are not many tourists.
Visited several small villages with traditional crafts. Each village is engaged in different handicrafts, kites, weaving and bamboo slips. Compared with the mass production of machines, the craftsmanship is precious.
